International time and date line is funny.
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/maps/world_maps/timezones_2001.jpg
in US clocks are ~8 hours (+/-3) FURTHER than in Australia, set by sun height:
~1 AM in US is ~9 AM in Australia. (8 hours substracted from australian time gives US time)
By the shorter way (to east) you go over the date line and also have to substract a day from the date! (...and than substract ~8 hours.)
~1 AM the 5th in US (eariest release) is ~9 AM the 6th in Australia

This makes time AND date clocks go ~16 hours LATER in US (than in Australia) without breaking the principles of causality . Australian clocks are just "way further" than US clocks, just because of the international time and date line, that cuts the date. (24+1-9=16)

Must be just me, but after searching the internet, I thought PST time is GMT - 8 hours, which is the pacific time for US & canada???

If this is wrong, what time is PST, in relation to GMT??

eg

PST = GMT +/- ?? ??

yar, 1:36am March 5th in the timezone you all looove to hate. don't be expecting a release till around 5:00pm or so... i can feel it in my bones. so all of you go to sleep! sleep in late... later then you ever dreamed possible! and when you arise from your comfy and warm beds, and sit yourselves in front of the comfy and warm glow of your computer moniters, bask in the radiation and click, tentatively on the Natural Selection bookmark in your bookmarks folder, silently praying, possibly even audibly praying to whichever god or diety you worship, that NS 3.0 Final will be released.

and when it is geeks around the world will cry with joy, a joy not felt since ye old days of yore... when star wars was "hip", and fedoras were "rad"... yes... the joys of ancient lore, the joy our forefathers felt when they used a toaster, or a microwave.

so tuck yourselves in little ones. sleep away the hours until our joy can be shared, on hundreds of warm little servers, their lights twinkling through the night in deralict closets. feeding us our wonderful... our sinfully addictive.. Natural Selection.

dream of gorges, sugerplums and medpacks...
