Well that makes sence, if you were to progress in a game to where these events such as Hoth and Death Star battles occur or simply progress in a timeline to where other more advanced evente occur, than that might explain as to why they have the Mon Calmari ships and A wings etc or other ships for that matter. it seems that the whole timeline/chain of possible events can be altered depending how you play the game.

Those lasers seem a bit short compared to Star Wars fights (plus they don't really have the white in the middle, like lightsabres and blaster shots do)...I suppose we'll have to have them tune up the engine first. As to the lasers looking odd: a few things. First they're the right length and so on, but the color is off, just not in the way you mentioned. Looks really awesome. Sadly I'm only into really.. really really "realistic" RTS's that the units dont just stand there and take hits until their health bars go down (IE: I love Soldiers: Heroes of WWII). I like to see them duck in cover, not out in the open and take the same damage.
Otherwise I'd pick it up. As long as I block the first, second, and third episode out of my brain and only remember the original ones, Star Wars is still really cool.
