Exhibition Match
While the NS site was down, the two teams North America and Europe played a two map exhibition match in preparation for the upcoming GamingOrb Nations Cup.
The two maps played were ns_veil, on Terror's East coast server and ns_tanith on CuC's English server.
Team America got off to a good start by winning a controversial first round, with a bug hindering Team Europe's fading team leaving them helpless to defend their hive. However, Europe managed to pull back the second round leaving veil with a 1-1 marine tie. With both teams moving over to the English server Team Europe managed to take both their alien and marine rounds with relative ease.
Final score: 3-1 Team Europe.

The Euro HLTV had 200 specs according to the demos, even though the server may have screwed up the number as they claim the HLTV had a 128 player max. American HLTV had around 100?
Another great moment was when zallvan pwned three or for skulks in ns_veil next to sub-sector hive

Don't know about US vs EU, but I think there will be some matches like Sweden Finland England... vs US, with that gamingorb cup coming. I'm not sure tho. Should be around march.
outside of that match (which was played on two completely different servers).
There will surely be a rematch, but not in the very near future. The GO Nations
Cup will definitely be a priority, and besides, you don't want to have these
matches every two weeks. Sometime before summer or after might be a feasible
time, but that's obviously not an definite statement since I only played for the
European team (and might play for the next, if picked), and didn't actually
organize the event.
300+
but <3 team euro, surprised they can even field a team with the community being as dire as it is.
Lets see, team not one terror member, not one original exigent member, in fact, bleh bleh bleh

Yes, because the exigent players who played weren't original exigent players, that automatically means that they suck, right?

Who are you again?
If you're going to insult me (or civ also, in this case) you should at least have the balls to identify yourself and let your opinion be known.
Edit for MrBen's edit: That's unfortunate, perhaps you should improve on your perceptiveness.
Right. I'm sure you an expert on my attitude, because you hang around me 24/7 and actually take the time to get to know me instead of looking at the same old same old.
