what exactly does PvP mean here? Does it mean everyone fights everyone else 24/8?

PvP = Player Versus Player. For WoW, the Horde battles againts the Alliance, so basically all horde players are allied and all Alliance players are allied, then you fight over places like in a real war.

Well I sort of know that, just wondering what the diff between a PvP server and regular one is. Is it just that in a non PvP one, the Horde can't fight the Alliance? That sign me up and count me ready for server 24, even if it is for kicks and giggles.

You can also duel allied characters in a PvP environment.

Made an account and started downloading. I'll be Corbus, Dwarf Hunter. If it's not taken. (Not sure since alot of random "words" not based on anything were already taken as account names.)

And just in case I really do need a proxy to play, would anyone care to explain how to use one? I have no idea. A PM will be fine. If I can't play I'll just wait for the european open beta.
