yah, durability loss was actualy lowered with the addition of the 10% on death
hehe, though there is another time when you need to use a spirit healer.

It was a fine sunny afternoon in the Redridge Mountains, where our heroine was embarking upon a quest to slay black dragon whelps and claim their belly scales.
Some time had past and she still had not found any scales. She was beggining to give up hope...but then out of the corner of her eye, she spotted something not right...something out of place.
The mage had put up a valiant battle, but was no match for our heroine. The mage was dead. Redridge Mountains were safe once more from the evil horde scum.
Our adventurers were getting tired now, so they decided to commandeer a nearby ship and bed down for the night. It may have been in a bad shape and not very sea worthy, but it was a dam fine ship.
And that fellow forumites is the end of the story. I hope you enjoyed it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

most of the time you really don't worry about durability. The only time it affects the quality of the item's performance is when it's 0 and even then it can still be fixed, no break is permanent.
And there has to be a down side to death, otherwise you wouldn't care if you died.

This is the result of all but one west coast/mountain server being down. Everybody crams into the one remaining one, gets naked and dances. For hours. <img src='http://www.doriangray.ca/images/danceparty.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
I got sick of that area, so I made a human rogue and chased after a cow with a fish for a bit. <img src='http://www.doriangray.ca/images/cow.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />

ruby the place with the elevators is called "thousand needles" the monsters are mainly 20-30 if you continue going SE (instead of the NW you went) you would have reached a dried up lake bed where goblins and gnomes run drag races (star wars pod racing style) and farther south you would have reached the goblin town
I was actually heading exactly where I wanted, I was going down to the island in the southwest called feathermoon. But I might have to check out those gobelins <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Some time had past and she still had not found any scales. She was beggining to give up hope...but then out of the corner of her eye, she spotted something not right...something out of place.
An undead mage!
<img src='http://www.ahavell.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/chase.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
Our heroine quickly set after the mage, determinted to wipe the scum off the face of the earth for the pride of the Alliance.
They had ran out of dry land, so the mage had nowhere else to go but underwater.
<img src='http://www.ahavell.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/battle1.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
The mage was running out of places to go, She knew now that she would have to face our heroine in battle.
<img src='http://www.ahavell.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/battle2.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
The mage had put up a valiant battle, but was no match for our heroine. The mage was dead. Redridge Mountains were safe once more from the evil horde scum.
<img src='http://www.ahavell.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/rejoice.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
---------
Later that day our heroine had to tell her friends about her valiant battle with the undead mage, so they went down t' pub for a sup.
When they arrived at the local pub, they found old Redford asleep in a chair by the fire, no doubt dreaming of past glorious battles.
<img src='http://www.ahavell.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/oldredford.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
They decided to leave Redford and pull up a stool at the other end of the pub, where drinks were had all round!!
<img src='http://www.ahavell.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/chug.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
After a few drinks they headed down to the pond for a friendly drunken frollick, where they met up with some other friends, Shockwave and Rellix!

Taking advantage of such precious equipment left behind by the enemy, we decide to do the right thing..
<img src='http://evolutionarily.org/~injury/Images/cannon2.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
..by blowing the door up! Then we valiantly proceeded towards the even larger WMD to find evil wherever it lurked.
<img src='http://evolutionarily.org/~injury/Images/goingup.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
Thus began our heroic charge into the jaws of enemy pirates to liberate the quest reward from their cold, dead hands.
<img src='http://evolutionarily.org/~injury/Images/boarding.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
Upon further inspection of the surrounding area, an ominous evil permeated from this building.
<img src='http://evolutionarily.org/~injury/Images/outhouse.jpg' border='0' alt='user posted image' />
and thus, after many more substantial clues we stumble upon the main source of the villainous acts in the Deadmines!
