According to Gamestop.com, these are upcoming release dates in the US. It should be noted that this is not remotely a complete list; these are only games that I consider either worth owning or at least noteworthy. Of particular amusement/note/frustration are the first two dates listed.
11/15: Everquest 2. Madden 2k5. Medal of Honor Pacific Assault. Metroid Prime 2. Need For Speed Underground 2. The Urbz (DS).
11/16: Alien Hominid. Baten Kaitos. Call of Duty: Finest Hour. Capcom Fighting Evolutions. DDR Ultramix 2. Half-Life 2. Zelda: Minish Cap.
11/17: Goldeneye: Rogue Agent. Metal Gear Solid 3.
11/22: Nintendo DS and launch titles (including Mario 64).
11/23: Metal Slug for GBA. Viewtiful Joe 2.
11/30: Prince of Persia 2.
12/1: DOOM 3 for Xbox. Gran Turismo 4.
12/6: Mario Party 6. KOTOR 2. Chronicles of Riddick for PC.
12/7: Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles for DS. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for GBA. Sonic DS.
The Gamestop at my mall also lists World of Warcraft on 11/16, but I think it will miss that date and probably even slip past the new year. GOOD.
My (short) list already totals $300, or $450 if I also get a Nintendo DS. I hope the industry learns a valuable lesson from this travesty of a holiday season, because 90% of the above games -- all of which will likely be VERY good games -- aren't going to sell nearly as many units as they should simply because the competition is too heavy.
My list:
Half-Life 2 Silver
Prince of Persia 2
Metroid Prime 2
World of Warcraft Collector's Edition
My wish list (honorable mentions):
Nintendo DS with Mario 64 and Crystal Chronicles
Alien Hominid
Ultramix 2
Zelda: Minish Cap
Viewtiful Joe 2
KOTOR 2

As for my list, it's pretty much the same as yours, cept KotoR and PoP are replaced with eachother.
By the way, where's a good place to get a collecters edition of World of Warcraft? I want my exclusive pet!
EDIT: btw does anyone know of a uk release for alien hominid?

or get a job
oh, but how could you be so sure?
Coming soon: Final Fantasy, Megaman, and Sim City.
*ahem*
Halo 2, The Bard's Tale, Doom 3, Jade Empire, KotOR 2, Ghost Recon 2, MechAssault 2 (maybe you'd want to throw Fable on there?) for Xbox
[Of which one is reserved , and one I plan to buy]
GTA:San Andreas, MGS3:Snake Eater,...some FF game, I'm sure ...for PS2
[of which I hope the first two decide to come to my Xbox after a bit - I sold my PS2 for a reason...]
Half-Life 2, Sims 2, Rome:Total War, Everquest 2, and more if you like the Zoo Tycoon/Rollercoaster Tycoon genre...for PC.
Bah, I plan on spending $160 more this year on games, and those are going to be Halo 2, Half-Life 2 and some other game which I haven't decided upon yet. Pffft to all the game companies that think: "Make it a holiday release or you're fired!" Maybe I'll just not get a third new game and go with Ninja Gaiden...but that'd be more exciting with the hurricane packs and stuff.
[Penny Arcade had a decent article about this a few weeks ago too.]

It's not too bad for me now: this season, I've bought The Sims 2, WH40K:DoW, Rome:Total War, Evil Genius and HL2. That's ~£150 already out of the way. Out of your list, I just need to get a DS imported (with Mario DS and Advance Wars DS if it's out), those two GBA games, and Prince of Persia 2. Ouch.
Not to mention that I have to buy Christmas presents. Although I'll get some of the above stuff as presents, I always spend more than I recieve on gifts.
WoW collectors edition
HL2 Silver
Made necessary changes. All 007 games after goldeneye sucked, and I blame EA for ruining the best franchise ever. I've boycotted them since then.
By this, I see that you have not yet gathered first-hand experience with them. My aunt, who worked for more than thirty years at Daimler-Benz/Chrysler in a medium-level management position, likes to say that any company that has reached a certain size will invest fortunes to streamline its office material acquisition - while refusing to invest a hundred extra bucks to increase profit by a factor of ten. Corporations are bureaucracies. Bureaucracies are not efficient.

Anyway, my biggest worry is that I won't have enough time to play everything worth playing. I'm currently slacking away on Rome, might pick Warhammer up before my HL2: Silver subscription gets unlocked, and will likely spend the end of the year with Vampire. I'm actually glad my only console is a GC, which kinda eases the pressure.

Nah Everything Or Nothing Rocked.
Yeah, GameCube is the only console I've got too. But I'm not too much into consoles anyway, PC games are much better. But I will definitely get metroid prime 2, as the first one just owned.
Oh please. There are good console games, there are good PC games. Right now, they release more dreck for consoles since they simply release more games for consoles. No system that does not seriously impair a developer's options, and none of the big three consoles does that, leads to inherently good or bad games.

It's a matter of taste. I don't know of many epic RTSs such as Rome for consoles (although if I'm wrong, please please point me towards one if it's for GC). The trouble is that Rome fills up all my time for single player, while multiplayer is all about CS:S and WH:40k. I've intended to pick up Pikmin 2 for ages, but I just don't have time for it game-wise.
Incidently, the Gauls have felt the wrath of Gaius Snidelius. They lie with their honour; in the dirt. Such is the price for being hairy beyond reason!
My contract finishes on HL2's release day. If I get a new contract I get to not lose my job, if I don't then I get to play HL2 lots - it's a win-win situation

...good game, needs patching.
It just sounds like that's what they started with, warped it a bit, and put it out as the title as an inside joke...
Nah, blowing it on beer.
