My Comp = overrun with Trojans.
My computerh as been overrun with Trojans. The AVG resident sheild has alerted me to at least 12 of them so far....I'm running the AVG full system scan as I type this. I'm like flipping out here...I have no idea whatsoever how all of these got onto my system.
Anyhting else I should do? I don't want to resort to a reformat, but I will have no choice if it gets any worse

What? No, just hit F6. You should probably have a quicksave before the trojans started coming.
Might I suggest a good firewall? (ZoneAlarm, etc)
Hmm I do wonder how you got them all.
It's porn, isn't it.
unhackable firewall right there.

2e Scan your HD a few times with different AV's or even better: reformat.
3e Try to be a less naïev, think twice when you click something/download something.
