    I believe there's an IRC channel, #nsshock on Gamesurge for setting up games with fellow forumites. However, I don't believe theres a server browser or anything.

    IRC is the chat service.

    mIRC is a client.

    You use a client (mIRC) to access the service (IRC)

    So all you do is open mIRC, connect to gamesurge (from the server list), and join the channel.

    Add a new server in your list:
    irc.gamesurge.net

    And join the #nsshock room, or whatever it is, with the /join command (like /join #nsshock).

    Well I was gonna explain the difference but someone already did. I think games are done by IP but its been a while since I've played.

    I'd be up for a game, but not if the players know the game really well and just speed through it. I mean, I've already beaten SS2, but I've forgotten huge chunks of the game so it's fun having to explore again. I wonder if the console commands work online... hmm...

    Sub_zer0, I really hope you have applied the patch for System Shock 2, which actually enables multiplayer games...

    I'm not really up to it, since I've beaten SS2 for the n-th time not so long ago, but I suggest you guys meet on some instant messaging program.

    I'd be up for a game sometime... I just have to find where I tucked my CD, and redownload the patch. Could be fun to play through as the dedicated Hacker, popping open security boxes and killing the alerts.
