Someone came up with a method of doing this. Being lazy, I can tell you that it involves emailing of attachments and stuff. Or something.

    Google is giving out 1gig of space <i>NOT</i> expecting its users to even use half that much. It'll probably block out this service if it gets to be a problem, just like it's blocked out 3rd party gmail notifiers and other miscellanea. Sorry to burst your bubble, but this won't last...

    Why is it every time you post in a thread I've just posted in, I'm quoted, and you put words in my mouth?

    I never said they <i>should</i>, but that they probably <i>would</i>. It's highly unlikely that google planned for everyone to be using up all 1000 MB of their space, it just wouldn't be cost efficient. It all depends on how popular this service becomes, really.

    I am surely awesome. I created 5 throwaway accounts from hotmail, and sent Gmail invites to each, now I have a total of 5 gigs of storage space. I am now backing up My half-life 2 content to gmail. ROFL.

    Just remember not to upload anything potentially sensitive, as Google will certainly have right to access all the files and etc.
