Yeah, there will be some crazy awesome maps alright. Does anyone want to take bets on how long it is before someone remakes AWPMap or Iceworld, except the floor is completely covered in tires and barrels? <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Slightly off-topic, but if ns_agora is remade on Source it's going to scare the s*** out of me. Seriously, that map has <i>atmosphere</i>, especially in the Sewer area.

Is he sure about that?
That's like buying an appetizer for the price of a full game. As I understood it (that's not much) they're selling CS:S right now, then later HL²'s packs.
CS:S comes standard with all Half-Life 2 packages

Their not making any $$ off of it... since it comes standard with Half-Life 2.
I agree with the general jist of the first post though. Its kinda odd when you see people saying "i cant wait for the the final CS:S, new maps!" when its just the same old layouts we have been playing for the past 2-4 years.

I thought they sold the CS:S right now for those who couldn't wait. That's what I seem to have somehow heard <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->

There seems to be a minority of people who think it was a pretty neat and refreshingly different game that happened to run like crap and a vast majority who thinks it's one of the worst games ever made...
No, they are selling HL2 and if you buy it now you get CS:S for free.

We still don't have official word concerning HL2's multiplayer. Don't start rumors you can't back up please.
Yea, I hope to see a HL2DM mod at least. I would love to map for that, not to limited, can pretty much do whatever in terms of level design... Just fun to play DM.
Or have to wait for it to install or go to your local retailer and HOPE they have it.
While you stand in the rain crying because some pimplesaurus rex with bbq stained strench pants and a star wars t-shirt just slapped his greasy hands on YOUR copy of HL2 all the while slopping down a bigmac, I will be playing it already. Ummm... it dosent matter if you buy it now... or 5 years from now. CS:S comes standard with Half-Life 2.
If you buy a Steam Package this week (or whenever they start online pre-orders) you get to play CS:S rightaway, but still have to wait for everything else. This has been offically stated.

yeah and new naked terrorist models with good graphics and bouncy boobs... what do you anti cs etc have to say about THAT
Why not just go outside with a bucket and throw rocks at it.. I mean, whats the big deal. Not like u can hide in the buckets/barrels/crates etc,

Can you pick up barrels and throw them at your neighbors?
Without repercussions, I meant. Should have clarified.
The physics are nice. Like I said, it'll change the gameplay little (If you see a terrorist, and a can, in a hallway, you're not going to try and shoot the can into the terrorists' face.) but when it does show itself, you stand back and say "THAT was nice."

maybe because it's impressive? Then again, if I wanted to get REAL realism, I'd just go outside and shoot my neighbors. Look at the physics when I shoot up from the bottom with a massive shotgun! Look how he flies into his car - oh ****, those physics are beautiful.

What a brilliant argument! It's amazing I didn't notice this before. Seriously, all development of games that have any semblance of reality must stop now because we can all just do it in real life. Games need to forget "gravity" because I get that enough every day.
