Anyone got it?
/do a little dance.
Come on, give me the good news.
/Been anticipating this game along with HL2.
Ok, this is weird.
When reading the review, they almost made me believe they are going to give them 1/5 stars from all the complaints. Actually, this gamespy review complains from the first to almost the last paragraph, only to give it 4/5 stars.
Now I'm confused.
awesome game, can't wait for it to hit aussie shelves...
so i'll ressurect this thread in 12 years when i get it

Yes but did you h4x0r it? You can get a MASSIVE map (unlimited size practically), a whole bunch of new items (including the sniper range for torturing), and some new rooms that don't work yet. You get soooo much cool stuff (and TRAPS). I rigged my base with cameras covering the entire base, with little security outposts where the minions would congregate until an alarm went off. The furthest somebody got into my base was some generic soldier, since I accidentally let him out of the Death Cubicle instead of activating it (giant rollers crush the prisoner paper thin ) The rest either got mowed down outside by the concealed autoguns or got caught on the security system as soon as they walked in.
why buy the game when you can h4x the demo?
no missions i guess, but that still sounds cool
enemies kept setting fire to my ammo/jail room. (whoever forced me to put jail cells in with the rifle racks was a moron)
It's horrible
*kidding*
Actually it's great! Though I'm thinking of restarting because I didn't invest enough men quickly enough to various money making deeds around the world... we'll see though.
Right now I don't have enough money to build a new freezer room and the bags are becoming a problem, and because they're a problem they're generating more of a problem.
oh well, still very fun.
I've done some capturing and now have a couple higher level minions.
The demo is such an oversimplification of the game.
specific questions so I can give you better updates?
note that I here and now note that all my future posts could be *SPOILERS* so be careful what you read.
I'm not particularly bothered about spoils seeing as the game has a fairly limited plot anyhow.
1. Who is the HAMMER super-agent?
2. What sort of enemy agents show up right near the start of the game, and what do they do? I ask because the soldiers in the demo were apparently quite high-level agents.
Actually that's all I can think of right now
That's the way I read it from the review.
Apparently not. In the demo, Elixir said they didn't use the ingame system for "heat", but used a ridiculously high level. To get that many agents, you need to have practically done a Dr. Evil and threatened the world with some big superweapon apparently.
Oh, and as for the fires in the prison, as soon as a soldier sees a cell, he'll try to blow it up. They're some of the highest-heat objects in the game. Hence the disguised cells you can buy. Oh, and always make your prison at the very end of your base tunnel network. So they have to wander through the barracks and stuff first.
As for heat notification, I don't know what that guy was talking about. On the world map you can get a read out for each group as to how much heat there is. Also each agent in your base will have a blue circle at his/her feet if no heat was picked up or a red percentage bar if he/she has.
That red notification on the world map is actually after the fact. You have to watch out of those guys yourself though. Kinda like in your base except there's no version of red alert. If you see an agent in the same region, hide, unless you are in a mission, hiding will make you fail it if you do.
no idea who the hammer super agent is, but here's smash's:
I guess i'll just have to wait
Also Cadaver, author of ns_origin deserves props for being on the dev team
I shall call him, same-size-me
The reason I don't care about the game, though: I captured an agent and prepared him for interrogation. While they were transfering him to the chair another agent broke in and got shot, but the two guys transporting the prisoner stopped. He miraculously reacquired his C4 (because apparently when you capture secret agents, soldiers and spies you don't disarm them) and blew up the armory he was in...
Anything that retarded doesn't get to go on my computer.

the one in the demo was very small and cramped, so does anyone has an overview of an fully built lair?
