He may not have been a gamer, but my English teacher for GCSE was pretty cool.
I remember telling him that I just couldn't write poetry. He didn't believe me. We made a bet; if my poems were as bad as I said they were, I would never have to write a poem while in his class.
If I do education next year I'm going to list my favorite servers and games in my classes. Of course, my students will most likely own the pants off me, but hey, it's a good way to bond.
Besides, who wouldn't want a chance to frag their teacher?
When I started college I found that some of the lecturers are more insane than half the students. One came in today with pink hair because, apparantly, he was on an army battlefield simulation (or something along those lines) and he got sprayed with fake blood at one point. Trying to wash it off turned it pink.

I also found that more than a few are into computer games, hell, one makes UT2K3 levels. Haven't came across any females that are interested in the games though.
The longer this thread goes on the probably of this happening again become slimmer and slimmer. Why?

and doomaniac lurve makes we want to commit never read a sentence like that again
I wonder if any of my proffessors or any proffessors in all of TCU play games. I don't even think any of the students do, the girls are too busy being valley girls and the majority of the guys don't seem to know where the on button is. At least that is the impression I get from many of my classmates.
My old US History teacher is a huge Xbox gamer, on days when we werent doing anything, the class consisted of talk of video games, whats new, whats old, what sucks...everything. He is the greatest man to live. That and my Computer Science II teacher is a gamer, and listens to good music.

I "won" the bet and he kept his word.
