Theres a wonam that has 2 costumes; one as zombie and one as lara croft. Who needs a marine?
This will be the "most imballanced game" ever; 1 fade, no hive and 1-10-thousand "visitors" <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I mad the teeth thicker not to hurt anyone and because it was easyer to do. Some parts are a little rounder (more cute) because thats easyer to do (less detail) than a lot of small things.
To paint the body I hang it on a rope, the black costume is now floating like a ghost in midday sun, and on the first view its almost scaring me. Guess how it scares completed, in movement, with horror ambience (music), in the darkness with colored light spots and in between dust macines.
You know Ollj, you've done some things over the years to lose my respect, but you've gained it all back in this thread. Hats off to you, you've got a gift. ^_^

try "stelzen"-setup (to lazy to translate) - just make the lower part (somewhere below fades knees) a wooden pole with a platform to stand on, and your own knee should match the fades knees. of course it would not look like the rendering, but, hey, thats the sneaking setup!

im no smart person like him, iv been trying to work on the fade but all i got is chicken wire and paper to work with (no money) if got the chicken wire in the right shape, the problem is that the only way to get in there is through the chest, and thats not pretty seeing you wreck the whole costume to get in, iv also got one of the lower legs is done too so whenever o move my left leg i sound like paper.
its a horrable failure and i may tortch the leg and throw the metal wire to the recycleing place.
i hope yours will be much diffrent, that it will be a complete sucess, mass produced and that i get one.

Im back from "costume probe", they basically just registered us and gave us locations in the park and costumes.
Good news is they accept my costume, they; "wow" like it, ask if its a snake, wonder if i would survive the acetone smell of the color...
Bad news is I got my location changed (before i even was there) and so moved to another smaller group infront of "neverending story". Instead of moving in circles in the "western part" of the map im now just in one attractions queue line behind the "little children part". ... The location itself is nice, it goes trough a small dark forest, perfect for a fade, and the attraction itself "neverending story wildriver ride" could be easily moved into a NS theme with just some painting. Now thats the problem, that "neverending story" attraction was the most beautifull attraction when the park opened, but they did not maintenence it much for more than 5 years, it urgently needs painting and nobody is gonna ride it twice because now its just damn ugly! Its screaming "i need paint" instead of "use ur imgination" for years. Thats not a big problem, im not IN the ugly attraction im INFRONT of it The problem is I want to move around in the park freely, as it was possible as "western character" (apart from the "stay our of the "little childtren world" rule), bad thing: the neverending story attraction (were they send me to) is locked inside the "little children world", and Im gonna miss my monster pals. I feel like "the only fade in a 2 hive lockdown" and the comment to my costume; "but your costume is just right for little childrens" (oh the irony) did not really help.

if i could and did not have to work, i would come; maybe i would bring a standard TSA marine suit with me (I'm not very gifted, but this thing shouldn't be to hard to create).
after looking at the concept art, i guess it's kinda impossible to make it 100% accurate, but after taking a look on the 3d render, I think it would be, when you can make stabilizing feet and you can keep stable on those "stelzen" (still to lazy to translate). Don't know how tall you are, but you should match the costumes knee with your own and everything below your own feet is a plattform, carried by a wood-frame-like thing... sorry, im to stupid to draw it what i mean. you have to guess it yourself.
