More changelog information:
O Regeneration now overflows health into armor in a single tick when applicable.
O Blast effect from Onos gore and Xenocide no longer affect teammates.
O It is no longer possible to place/keep a waypoint on a cloaked alien.
O Removed ex_interp from cvar locks.
O Added lightgamma to locked cvars. Value cannot be set below 2.0.
And now, for the first of many maps that have been updated.
Changes to ns_eclipse
O Updated ns_eclipse
- Removed doors in Marine Spawn
- Layout adjustments to Marine Spawn
- Fixed clipnode issues in South Loop (invisible "ledges")
- Additional lighting tweaks
- Removed added pipes in Triad
- Fixed damage issues on weldable doors
- Attempted to smooth over infestation 'terrain' in hives (single convex clip brushes)
- Fixed lips in vent to marine spawn and other vents for smoother navigation
- Replaced old infestation texture with a new one</i>

Hmm maybe darker maps(Like in the verisons 3.0 beta 3 and lower) and aliens get advance sight back...

And no, those veterans don't deserve their eyes. They're cheating devices, I tell you!
As for the box... In a choice between the BOX or the BUS, I'd take the BOX any day of the week, especially since the BOX might contain ten BUSses that would lead to 10x the improvement instigated by a single BUS! Mwahahaha, I must sound high or something...
Do you intend to make the game better by removing the possiblities of customizing your game ? I wonder whose idea it is.

Then why does it block values <i>below</i> 2.0 ?
see, that is why I qualify my statements with 'i believe' and such things as that.
remember that entire being human thing, and thus making periodic mistakes?
Also lightgamma is pretty cheap because instead of making everything bright it just makes shadows brighter. Which again was pretty damn cheap.
But yeah it shouldn't have been locked to 2.0 and below, but 1.0 and below. Some of these playtesters have no idea of what they are doing.
Not only that, but overflowing regen is way unbalancing. It shouldn't be put it in and it makes gorges, lerks, fades, and onos (esp. fade + onos) godlike at hives.
It should only work for person regen not hive regen.

hehe, was about to post wondering what the over flow had to do with the vie's health regen... hehe, I get it now, you say that only the upgrade should over flow not health gain from the hive (and I assume DCs then also)

I don't see why people whine about every little change like that. 2.0 is a low enough value. If it's not, change your video card settings or your monitor settings. Anything below that just makes the map washed out.

No, not really. High values are anything but an exploit. I believe 2.5 is default (maybe not), and anything above that makes the maps look a lot darker, and values over 4.0 it's hard to see what's going on.
