Sloth, read up on Orca, or "Killer Whale" hunting practices and you will see they batter seals about to disorientate them before the big crunch. Since they hunt in pods, it does look horribly similar to volleyball with a large fat seal for the ball.
Seals, squid, anything that stands a chance of escaping gets the crap battered out of it.
Now yes you could say "well thats to stop the prey escaping, duh" and you'd be right. However, thats also the reason why people eat dead animals. They find it hard to escape once they've been hit on the head with a hammer and then chopped up into succulent cutlets.

vegetarian: Some one who dosn't eat meat. the things not considered meat are: Dairy Eggs Fish
different vegetarians will eat different things. The normal one is ovo-lacto (eggs and dairy).
Vegans are against the consumption of any animal products.
the degrees are still there, just now they are different, some things include: use of products that were from animals (fur, leather, etc) sometihng about certain crops and animal byproducts or something
and other such things.
Remember, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH BEING A VEGETARIAN OR VEGAN!
just being a psycho who seeks to impose your values on other people who have no interest IS!
my EX GF (of 3 years) and another one of my realy good friends are Ovo-Lacto, simply b/c that was how they were raised. my ex will also eat fish (though she dosn't like it that much) and her mom loves sushi (she is the reason why my ex is vegitarian, obviously). I used to always forget that they were vegetarian (As they never make a point out of it) till they kept on getting screwed at partys and such b/c no one had anytihng more appetising then a crudy salad (thus I started reminding people, do we have some good veggies for Chloe and Cyrus?)
And remember, PIZZA IS VEGETARIAN!!!! (I'm a new yorker, I can't help it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)

Seriously, they have the blatant words FALSE all over them. WTH?
I eat meat, yet I don't have a Hitler-esque moustache, do I?
I think that it's a matter of degree - vegetarians can eat things like eggs, while vegans eat only plants. I could be wrong though. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
Aren't plants living as well?
RIGHT ON!
the things not considered meat are:
Dairy
Eggs
Fish
different vegetarians will eat different things. The normal one is ovo-lacto (eggs and dairy).
Vegans are against the consumption of any animal products.
the degrees are still there, just now they are different, some things include:
use of products that were from animals (fur, leather, etc)
sometihng about certain crops and animal byproducts or something
and other such things.
And remember, PIZZA IS VEGETARIAN!!!! (I'm a new yorker, I can't help it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->)
they would prolly drown you in the cow blood
NOOOES THE AGRI CORP ROBOT IS COMING TO KILL OUR BARN AND POOP OUT A METAL HOUSE!!!
