Gorge Benefit Package

Okay folks, here's an idea that I've been kicking around and I Would like some feedback from the forum for consideration/refinement.
So, we all know that whenever an alien player builds a new structure they get points added to their score. I think that is great, it’s a bit of motivation to strengthen the team. Still, I feel that a little more motivation is in order.
Here's a list of benefits to go with various structures:
Res Tower: Res towers, as far as I know, dispense one res per second to one member of the team. This cycles through the entire living team. What if the builder of a particular res tower receives 2 res from his tower when his/her turn arises? There could be certain limits placed on this, like it could max out or something.
Upgrade Chambers: A builder of a particular type of upgrade chamber will gain a discount on the cost of upgrades attached to that chamber. This benefit could be cumulative so that if a player builds enough of a certain chamber, the upgrades could become free.
Hives: As hives speed up an entire team's respawn rate, perhaps the builder of a hive, who, lets face it, sacrificed a lot of res to build it, is automatically put further up in the respawn que.
Offense Towers: Already give the builder all the res from the kills so, what more do you want?
These are my suggestions and I feel that as the current NS climate seems to favour marines, this will level the field once more. Please, give me suggestions and feedback, in other words, FLaMe AwAy!

I'm for the gorge benefits... it would make THAT job more fun.
But gorge benefits are cool. There was another one too, where a gorge could "eat" a gun by using it and get res for it.

Yeh I like the idea of giving the gorge some insentives
However getting 2 res per tick if have you previously built a rew tower is bad, what if everyone gorges, drops a rt. Then each alien gets double res, mega imbalance.
also rewards "career" gorges, 'cause as long as they are building/replacing res towers, they are getting plenty more res to do their job. i wouldn't suggest making the effect cumulative, mind you. you could end up with gorges having practically unlimited res :o
I think Who ever is the gorge, gets 1.5 or 2 res per tick. You dont have to build res tower, u just need to be gorge to get more resources. Though then players would go gorge at start and wait until onos res :/
I have very weird suggestion to solve this problem: Make 2 different res systems. 1 for structures and 1 for other lifeforms and upgrades. They both would be at start 25/25 . When you are any other lifeform than gorge, the first bar would arise up as normal as it is now. But the other bar would rise as 0.5 faster (so it would be 1.5slower) than the other. But when player goes gorge, the first bar stops raising up fast, and will raise up as 0.5 faster(so it would be 1.5 slower) than normal , and the second would rise up 1.5 faster than the first one. This second one would be structure res bar. It would raise faster when gorge so structures would be cheaper to make and gorging would be funnier <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
Dont think This would make that aliens wont get second hive up as fast as normal if someone wont go gorge and be a gorge until gets 40 res. 'Cause if u think little more u will notice that aliens will get faster resources than normal because:
+ There would be more gorges at start
+ More RT:s and OC:s to defend them and hive.
+ Fades will come sooner, so getting second hive up would be easier when fades are protecting.
+ Its more difficult to marines to destroy RT when fades come sooner and You can build OC to defend RT because u would gain res faster when gorge to build structures.
If someone sees something not working in my idea, then say it :F
I think a better way would be to have the bonus reduce for each added effect.
For example, the first RT you build gives you x res per tick as long as it lives.
The second would add on a x/2 res per tick bonus as long as it lives.
The third would add on a x/2 res per tick bonus as long as it lives.
Etc.
That way, you're not encouraging everyone to plant individual RTs, but a gorge who lays down three RTs doesn't get a scary amount of res income.
