added a possible belt idea that i saw on another model that would look pretty cool. Just a quick 5 minute job to get the idea across

Belt would wrap over the hand on the trigger and feed over the top and into the gun........rambo style

That weapon's turning out pretty well, I think. Meshable and all.For a right-handed weapon, the ejection port isn't so important. Skinning it'll be just fine. I vote for single-handed Rambo-style belt-fed for the heavy marines and two-handed box-fed for regulars. Gotta have something to work toward, right? Maybe have a bit of the left hand showing in the bottom left of the screen. Boo-yah. Or not, and make the origins a little more centered, so he's got his body-weight behind it, instead of it being off to the side and away from the guy's center of gravity.

can someone tell me how i can put this onto a model of one of the soldiers. i know the basics behind animation so i could mess around with it and see what kinda positions i could get him to hold it

Import the player model (With skeleton!), merge it with the gun mode, put the gun in one of his hands in the right position, the assign it to the corresponding hand bone. Then you can import the default player's idle animation and start animating.

best way to finish something is learning to do it yourself or getting some one that you know realy well to do it for you its kinda hard to get random people on forums to help they are usualy busy with there own things
