Gameboy As Controller

<div class="IPBDescription">Crystal Chronicle Woes</div> We have three gameboys. I have my old Gameboy Advance, my Gameboy Advance SP, and my little sister has her Gameboy Advance SP. I lend my mum my GBA-SP, and we fight crime and collect loot. It's all good.

...Except for the fact that a sister's coming home for the weekend. We reckon she'll like it, too, but we don't have another GBA.

Isn't there any way around this? Second hand GBA's are still quite expensive, not to mention hard to get and slow to arrive. I thought I saw a thread showing a TV being used for a GBA screen, but I can't find the damn thing; I've forgotten the author and title, which makes it harder.

):

coil is the resident expert at this. :P

Basically you use a second Gamecube w/ the GBA Adapter to act as another gameboy advance. Definately more expensive unless you have a friend w/ a gamecube who would let you borrow it, and also a second tv, and also the gba adapter.

Damn. I've got another TV, but not another Gamecube. >.<

    Thanks for the response, though.

    1) Go to Game Stop
    2) Buy used GBA (or Game Cube and Gameboy Player)
    3) Have fun for the weekend
    4) Any used items can be returned before 7 days... no questions asked.

Yep, I did this for a little while -- used a Gamecube + GB Player + 2nd TV as a GBA controller. It's really quite strange, and when I finally got a GBA (bacon_flaps rocks), it took a little getting used to. ^^

I'd say get a fourth GBA. Even if you only use it for linking to the GC, you can also play Zelda Four Swords Adventures, which rocks the hizzouse.

I see them all over the Eastern US. Mostly in malls.

GameStop used to be called "Babbage's"
In honor of the man who invented the analytical engine.

and you must admit, that the first programmer, (excluding of course, Heron of Alexandria)Ada Augusta, countess of Lovelace, was quite the looker.

I still boycott them because of the namechange.
