<div class="IPBDescription">worth releasing?</div> After some playtests (never had a chance to have a real game before), the obvious problem that sava had became too obvious, and so I decided I would try doing solving it...
How? You might ask, well, removing the central corridor and the adjacent new room, leaving the layout in a form closer to my original thoughts, which was creating a forced chokepoint in the center, too bad the central room was huge and it didn't work as well as I intended... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo--> Guess this should fix it, notice how this is a "different" map... I still haven't released sava 1.1, which is probably a map for very populated servers...

Since it's just a reduced version there's no need for new pics...
btw, I don't know when I'll release the new sava (the big one...) since I want to preserve the filename and I want to try to get it as official map first...

I must be missing something then.
What I mean is
I can see MiniSava becoming a CO map
and
I can see Sava becoming an NS map!
Oh, and I have plans for a full ns_sava, too, in fact, I said that in the readme file.

Also, nice looking map, I'll have to try it out. I had the same complaint about sava, that middle room was just tooo big. Marine campathon.

suggestions:
* i managed to get completely stuck as a skulk running behind the hive so i think that needs to be brought out by a few units from the wall
* i didnt like the water effect uve used in various places, looks more like the lighting effect ud see on a wall if light was being shone out of some water
* didnt like how the comm chair was placed, its very close to the wall and the kerb the other side, maybe have some sorta round alcove, or put the comm chair where the armoury is and put the armoury on the walkway bit which goes thru the room
I'll try to fix the problems with the hive and probably switching the CC and the armory...
As for the water... I think it's fine as it is, I think it looks better than the normal water textures, guess it's a matter of opinion <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

i think maybe its just the rate at which it changes, it looks nice, its just not smooth.if its just an animated texture can u not just add some more frames to it?
also, i havnt played it on a server yet but the layout as it is seems a good size as it is, combat maps that r too big favour the aliens far too much as they can get around it quickly, so i wuld stick with the mini version imo
