    Well, you guys who cancelled are gonna be ****. Yes its the footage from E3...

    But its a 1024x768 direct feed of it. Not no crappy shakycam. Remember the videos of HL2 Valve released over Steam last summer? That quality. Hell maybe even a little higher.

    bah video cant really even show what the game is really like, i got nothing out of watching this higher quality video. i do miss pointing out the reflecting bald heads in the screen though...

    well, i downloaded it from fileshack (6 second line, hoorah), and i must say, i was disappointed... the only impressive effect i noticed were the reflections. the map was too pointy, the models were too rounded. physics have been done in many other games.

    By the way, it looks just awesome, a vast improvement. I saw and heard stuff I never saw, such as bird calls, creaking of the bridge, and just lovely texture details. The models sill need a little work, but it all just looks cool.

    For those interested, <a href='http://www.hl2grounds.net' target='_blank'>HL2Grounds.net</a> also have it available for download in the "Resources" section of our <a href='http://hl2grounds.net/hl2gcommunity/index.php?act=idx' target='_blank'>forum</a> for registered members (Registration takes 30 seconds, and Fileplanet takes...a while).

    Yeah! It would be more realistic if they included the screaming over the mic by pre-pubescent, yet very, very angry small children, like it'll be in the real game.
