New Things That Should Be Included In Ns

<div class="IPBDescription">Plugins that should make it to the game</div> i have noticed plugins enhance natural selections playability
and have made a list of ones that should be included and why

Phase tech : this plugin allow the com to drop medpacks and ammo into the phase gate then when a marine want some ammo or a medpacks he doesnt have to wait for the com to give him one this should also be modified so a certain marine can have only some many in a alotted amount of time so a marine cant go on massive killings sprees

award plugin gives marines and aliens awards at the end of each game this one is perfect how it is

Marine vs Marine : this is a plugin that chnges marines colers so they well be more easily noticed as a enemy or good guy i think there should be a couple marine versus marine maps in ns by default

Capture the gorge : this is a very fun plugin for Marine Versus marine levels it replaces the comm with a gorge it just like capture the flag but except with gorges

Chesey petezas respawn system : all marines can spawn at once if they die this helps alot if there are spawn campers


feel free to post about other plugins or why one of these plugins should not be included

You are supposed to rely on the comm for medpacks when away from an armory.

It would have to be a server variable, but I loooove this plugin.

Why do you think most servers are running something like it?

    while it is nice for new commanders because it lightens the load a bit BUT when calling for meds/ammo they land on the marien every time. this is unfair because the commander cannt hit the marine every time with the meds/ammo and currently the commander cannt drop meds/ammo (or anything for that matter) right on top of a marine.

    The fixed waypoints plug-in. It's like playing NS all over again with this.     I played on a server with that phase meds/ammo plugin. It seemed fair to me, the meds were delivered fairly slowly and consistantly off-target; (unless you stand still for a good 2 seconds) definitely no better than a half-decent comm could do, and it does lighten the load on pub comms who have to handle a less-than-perfect team.

    Not that it should be a part of the game, but it is a pretty fair plugin.

Not sure how balanced it is on classic or in tourny games though -- costs 5 res, can be dropped by a gorge and lets out bile bomb like substance that damages marines for a small amount of health/armor</li><li>warcraft 3/superhero mod plugin...</li><li>dod style jumping plugin ftw</li></ul>

    Yeah I'd like to see these as well as the awards and the RT controlled/total counter at the top left of the screen be standard. They present no balancing issues so there should be no problems including them.

    Never seen the spore pod before. Do you know a server that uses it?

    That definitely needs to go in. You should be able to see how many resource nodes your team has placed.

    Open your minimap and play count the RTs. Although a 2.01 style res node counter would be kind of nice to have again.

    That sounds awesome! Hehe, a giant Gonos/Onorge running into the base, wiping out the whole team, and running back... I'd want to be the Gonos! It'd suck to be marines, unless there was like 20 'rines vs. 1 Onorge.

    Yes.
    Oh wait, the minimap doesn't always show buildings that aren't in view of a marine when you open it. Too bad.

    And even if that bug gets fixed it would still be a lot faster to just have a counter. Seconds make a difference in NS.

    The RT Plugin would be very nice, each team can view it's own res nodes (maybe a limitation here, only commander and gorges can see the RT number)

    The chamber visual counter (3+ DC = 3 DC icons on HUD)

    How about the plugin that gives lerks spikes?

    The sporemine plugin does major damage. When I say major, I mean like 75/second, I have played with it, and it is extremely powerful. But that should be included (in combat mode you are allowed 2 per life as gorge, in NS they cost 5 res, and I think you can only have 3 in an area).

    phase tech: no, as good coms wouldnt be needed to win

    award plugin: should be serverside to choose awards/tweak

    MVM: flayra has already said that MvM and AvA would be a possibility long b4 one was made

    Wave Respawn vrs Single: Should be part of the game, but server creator should be able to decide

    * Marine parasites show up as SoF icon, structures show up like normal.

    A new sprite for structures would work better but that plugin is very nice.
