A lego animation movie, pretty cool overall. One of the better lego animation movies I've seen in general.

Very cool, but it would be better knowing the fact that a fan made it....not big named companies.

It was only like 6 people or something. Just because they got paid doesn't mean they're not fans.

How does the fact that they have an incentive to do better would make it seem like it's gonna do bad?

Definately one of the coolest things I have seen in a long time, even with the 15MB dl on a barely DSL connection. :-)

    Nice.

A question about SM2. Why didn't somebody just break out an .223 carbine and slam a few rounds in Doc Ock's face? Probably would do the job quick & easy unless he has some sort of protection I'm unaware of...

Well, it's really quite simple. You see...

    Erm...

    ...

THE POWER OF CLIMATIC DEATHS OF VILLIANS COMPELS YOU!

Anyways, that was incredible. It was one of thsoe movies where you can't decide whether to gape in awe or laugh in hilarity.

He usually had a hostage. Other than that, it'd ruin the movie.

Because this is a very very strange city. Seems while extremely dangerous research is done in the middle of the city, noone has a gun.

Actually, the common theves do have guns, but Spider-Man just uses the element of surprise to disarm them quickly.

For those of you who enjoyed this example of LEGO animation, I refer you to Brickfilms.com and Bluntmation.com. Two fine sites devoted to this film medium. I reccomend that you watch the "Clock Tower Trilogy", The Game, The Game pt. 2:The Doggy, The Freak Trilogy, Christmas w/ Bluntmation, and Geek Out. I haven't seen many of the new ones, so I can't comment on those.

EDIT: From Bluntmation. Brickfilms has way too many films to go through and rccomend.
