IGN, has bought out <a href='http://www.rottentomatoes.com' target='_blank'>http://www.rottentomatoes.com</a> a wonderful movie review site, you can view the whole article here: <a href='http://www.rottentomatoes.com/pages/pr/20040629a' target='_blank'>http://www.rottentomatoes.com/pages/pr/20040629a</a>
Of course the evil thoughts were passed in IRC. They buy this, what will they buy next?
<DOOManiac> gamespy/ign are becoming the wal-mart of the internet.
<DOOManiac> "Google, brought to you by gamespy/ign!"
<DOOManiac> *TIRED OF WAITING IN LINE FOR YOUR SEARCH RESULTS? TRY GOOGLE PREMIUM! ONLY $19.95/YR! NO WAITING IN LINE FOR YOUR SEARCH RESULTS!"
They say they aren't going to plaster their ads all over the place, but I am skeptical of course also. Anyone else as annoyed and sad as I am right now? <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Premium service my ***.
Seriously that sucks. Well, here comes the premium services!
No problem.
Bottom right screen. See the digital clock? Double click; switch the time to April 1st.
Once again, the world is saved through the conglomerate forces of the intellgent ones.
That would be "intelligent" spelt with a capital "9".
That has happened to me with the gamespy.com website. But it seems okay now, ever since I started using Firefox.
---------------
@ Confuzor: The fact that you can spell "intelligent" with a 9, a capital one nonetheless (which is frightening in and of itself; how can a 9 be capitalized?), scares me greatly. Once again I enjoy your humor/insanity.
That would make it a NEIN.

Ahh. The german "no". Suddenly it makes more sense.
The answer is NEIN!
Get some common sense guys. Until we see you buying 200+ servers and paying for 6,000,000,000,000 GIGABYTES of bandwidth being used every day, then I will still love Gamespy, cause they kick your ****.
Step 1: Go to My Computer, then C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
Step 2: Open the file called "hosts" using notepad
Step 3: after the line that assigns localhost to 0.0.0.0, add
<!--c1--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->0.0.0.0 www.gamespy.com<!--c2--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->
127.0.0.1 works as well, but some people report it may work slower.
When you save the file, make sure you don't inadvertently put a ".txt" extension at the end. The file needs to have no extension to work.
You have now <i>officially</i> boycotted Gamespy. Try browsing to it. Impossible, see?
It wasn't until the last paragraph that I realized you weren't being sarcastic.
