<div class="IPBDescription">Au revoir?</div> Well, it looks like work is going to ban people from using the internet and the IT people here are actually pretty good.

Thought I should say bye now while I can, I maybe back in the next few days as 1) I'm pretty persuasive and 2) I normally find a way around these things but...

we'll see.



It shouldn't be long till I get a computer of my own, though it maybe put back a bit as it looks like I'm going to be buying myself a house in the next few weeks! One of those opportunities which I don't think I can pass up and is going to put me in serious debt to start with but considering the current trends of the English housing market this is probably the best time to get something.

And I ramble on, well, anyone who knows me and knows where I was just a year ago knows what a big jump it is for me.

    What department/type of company do you work for?
    Try and convince them that you need the internet for work.
    It's not like they won't look at your history anyway

    Im in customer service for travel insurance. I've already thought of a few arguments I could use but... the management here are the most useful of people. They are incredibly stubborn and... tbh they don't know what they are doing... probably why they hired me <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    Mwahaha, they banned everyone from the internet but actually turned out to be pretty useless at enforcing it and theres a few ways to go around it.

    I'm still listing reasons and logging times when internet access would have made my job easier for when they do crack down but until then I get to roam around as normal <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
