For some really amazing stuff, check out the CGTalk CG Choice Galleries. CG Talk is basically a forum where 3D and 2D artists go to show WIPs and Final versions of their artwork, and the CG Choice Galleries are the best of the best. I've seen a few of the images posted in this thread on these forums, and there are so many more amazing images there that I wouldn't even know what to pick as examples.

Here, I'll help. This is an absolutely awesome 3D render that I've been a fan of since the first time I saw it. It's done by a guy who goes by the name of LCONE.

damnit, the pic i was gunna put up is pretty cool but its 131kb.. can u belive it 1kb to much, i'll sort it out so i can post it you know cut off the corners or sumink.. anyways enjoy
