Rancid, Mad Caddies, Dance Hall Crashers, Farse, The Vandals, Beastie Boys, Poison The Well, xCANAANx, Funeral For A Friend, Luckie Strike, GBH, Pietasters, The Business, Atari Teenage Riot, CKY, The Gadjits, The Slackers, Lolita Storm or Dropkick Murphys, all of which in my current playlist.
I find it amazing how you've managed to get to the record store and back so many times to buy all this music you're listening to............
Have you heard any Led Zepplin or Pink Floyd? Both are quite old rock bands that have released songs of varying quality and style. Try some classics like Stairway to Heaven, Kashmir, when the Levee Breaks, The battle of evermore or misty mountain hop. They are all quite positive songs but Zepplins style changes quite a bit in each one so each song is refreshing and interesting, if a *tad* too long for most people.
Also, definitely try some Muse like StickMan said, they are definitely among the top British bands still performing at the moment.
SKM-ETR A power electronics artist from Canada, and despite his small amount of released material, one of the most talented guys in the genre, ranking up there with guys like Control and IRM. You can find a bunch of songs in 128kbps MP3 format from his homepage. Of the four full tracks available, I suggest you start with either Human Speed Bumps (huffing version) or Gas Blistered Lips (Azoikum remix). Too bad his original Gas Blistered lips isn't available there, for it's solid gold.
Speaking of Control, his album titled Natural Selection is worth checking out (no, it's not NS related ). The first track of the disc, Removal, is simply amazing and something you'd expect to hear in your head during a psychotic episode.
And remember: no point in listening to power electronics unless the volume is turned up.
