my computer sucks.. something bad, and i play cs occasionally, and most of the custom-models i use for CS is on a pc amount aprox. 6000-7000, and it doesnt slow my computer down at all...
even on servers with 32 players
i dont really think a pc amount around 3000-4000 will mean anything except for being high-poly, sure, if you can make low poly models thats fine by me, but it sure dang does look better if its high-poly, with the little stuff on thats usually on the skin.
so with my 733 mhz computer, i urge you to continue your modeling of high pc models, they rock, and they always will i belive
and dont care about anyone who says anything against you REDDmonkey, because if you complain about pc amount on a v_ model, well.. anyone who does doesnt have the knowlage to do it, thats just a pure fact
please keep granting us those models of gods! <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd--> you will care if the p_/w_ models are that PC.... it's okay for v_ as there is only one at the screen at once.... but p_/w_ models are as much as (marine) players <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif' /><!--endemo-->
yeah, if people like it that much and it all goes well with the mesh and skinning etc (which it hopefully will..) i'll do a low poly version for the p_ and w_ models. Would that be the best thing to do? It shouldnt take long
if you wanna do a lowpoly p/w model, just draw the outline of the model in faces, make the faces and extrude sideways <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

Thats a bit harsh, even for a low poly, eh Cookie? <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
the cs team did it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
I will work on the mesh this week and hopefully finish it too. It's just im still learning how to mesh and i dont want to make something thats not skinnable, which is why it's taking a bit longer than expected
lol, i didnt mean the skin <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo--> it's just normally from what i've seen, alot of things just don't happen for one reason or another, so i hope it all goes ok.. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

It's not a SG - it's a HMG with a sideways drum on the bottom. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
