Most may not know, or care, but I got my intarweb back today! Finally I have left the craphole known as Arkansas and moved back to my homestate of Iowa. And I got a funny story out of it!
So.... we're unloading the truck we rented and some of the kids around the apartment are riding bikes / skateboards around. Then they decide that it would be cool to ride them in front of the moving ramp, one kid on a skateboard jumps onto the ramp and lets the board go under. So my dad, in a stern but not harsh voice goes "Can you guys not do that and go somewhere else?" Sure enough they go somewhere else.... only to return a bit later... We happen to be unloading into a garage by it, and my dad is in the back messing with boxes when this happens again. So I yell out to one of the skateboard kids, "Hey come here I wanna show you a cool trick." So he comes over, his friends watch, he hands me his board, and I walk back into the garage a little bit, my back turned to him, grab a sledgehammer that he doesnt see (because im turned away), set his board down in front of me, and once he realizes I have a sledgehammer behind my head thats one second from smashing his board, he sort of flips out, I smash the board, give it back in two pieces, and tell him and his friends not to come around again. My dad just laughed. Cruel? Yes. But kids need to learn to listen the first time. And it wasn't like it was an expensive skateboard either.
