<div class="IPBDescription">OPERATION IRAQI FREEDOM</div> i've been looking for an article like this for a while.

<a href='http://www.bob-oracle.com/SWATreport.htm' target='_blank'>http://www.bob-oracle.com/SWATreport.htm</a>

read, and discuss if you like. hopefully this will clear up some of the ridiculous (and usually baseless) "x_weapon sucks" mentality present in these civilian environments.

    i'm still reading it, and holy crap this is really interesting..

    for isntance: the infamous feed failures of the beretta m9 pistol is largely due to magazines NOT produced by beretta...

    Very interesting. I like the fact that they were buying 12 gauge shotguns at home station, and that they would like non-lethal ammunition. Perhaps the Benneli M3T will become an offical weapon? Maybe the Jackhammer will finally be ordered and produced?

    Interesting... Just think though, these guys could be stuck in the Canadian armed forces. Most of them wouldn't even have to worry about weapons failing (assuming they were even issued any) since their transportation (especially ye old jeeps and Sea Kings) would crash first.

    This is really cool, it's interesting to see into the equipment problems of the regular soldier.

    I always wondered how their day-to-day interaction with all that equipment was. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
