110 Armor?

<div class="IPBDescription">hacks or mods</div> I just saw the other day someone with 110 armor and showed 129 percent armor when i was aiming him...and when i spawned, i was at 85 armor.

I'm not new or anything, just assuming he was hacking...waddaya think?

I would assume that he was an admin, or an admin used Admin Mod/AMX Mod to increase the amount of armor he had. There is no hacks that can do this, because it is a server side amount.

incidently - as said, it was either an AMX plugin, or it was your eyes playing tricks on you... there are no client side cheats for altering health/armour as they aren't controlled by your computer but by the server

Yeah i think the guy was and admin...damn i can't remeber his name exacly, cos i would flame is name and call him exageratly lame.

I could never be proud of myself for doing that, why do ppl take unfair advantages and think they're real good?

Its like a 2 minute fade in classic : WOW you're so godlike for killing unupgraded marines!

maybe i'm just too nice,
but i never spawn camp
i never go fade quick, i rather drop a hive and have a good game for everyone
i even give less good players more chance of killing me so they can be proud inside
I don't exploit
i let other ppl get kills so they don't feel to lame
I don't camp as a marine (Exept when going ninja to start sieging a hive)
I never stay far vs skulk cos i won't be has proud of my kill
Damn, i never rush marine start anymore cos its too easy

I know i could own a lot more using unfair advantages, its just not in me!
I want ppl to have has much fun as I do!

Nah, no cheats no admins hax, nothing... On one server I play, when you self-weld you can get up to that.... just aim down and weld... and you get it... forget what the HA level was though....but 110 is what I got for LA....

I've seen this before. I think there's a bug where it calculates the guy's current armor percentage based on the previous maximum but the current value... or something... or adds the percentage wrong when he gets welded up in between armor upgrades... I seriously doubt any hacking going on.

Edit: yeah it could have to do with self-weld

Also, some custom "fun" maps, like ns_longjump, have armor rechargers (from HL single player). You can get some pretty high armor amounts by using them, even at armor level 1.

This game is too easy most of the time...I just give my all when the team needs to.
Like today, i got in late game combat. I was lvl 3, and some had HA and shotgun. I had 12-12 and i went fade and i finished 75-18.

I let MY team get kills, not the other team (****) Joking! You just misunderstood, hehe
And yeah i let marines get tech, it becomes much more interresting. Anyway i go half of the time gorge in beginning if not, i drop a hive at exacly 40 res to help the team...
and make the challenge more fun 4 all!
As we all know, aliens always win the long run, almost.

wth r u guys saying? there is an amx mod that lets you weld urself to 110 by welding directly under you. u must've been on marks custom ns map server. right?

oh and the very nice NS dude, i don't think giving the enemy free kills is such a good idea. the idea of a game is to have fun, and there is no fun in losing.

Its just that if i got plenty res and the team's looking towards a win situation, ill play with fire a lot more than most leet players. I always like to go onos, totally annihilate the marine team, then kill the ip while standing over it and when i get telefraged i say : OMG I got OWNED!

Combat is really easy, I can do the same thing, join like 10-15 mins late and still end up as the top killer, managing to stop most of the GLers GLing the hivce and the HA support. I play on that 32 player combat server.....

Anyone else realise that there are no other 32 player servers? thats a shame..

You stooges, if somebody goes a larger alien and pops out of the egg while the player is looking at him, his percentage increases. To see the real armor, just look away and look again.

'Model NSPlayer' over there probably was gorge or hive-camping skulk and only saw him when he was at base evolving into the fade.

Server-side packets help this happen for longer periods, as they have to update you the new armor type and in ns, as much as i love the game, servers are buggy. As a former owner of NS servers, plus the fact that i have run CS, TFC and HLDM servers too before, trust me on that one.

I myself sometimes see somebody with 120% armor, then if i look again after 10 seconds it is normal again.
