here cs, i think this may be what youre going for.

eff, when did you see me do scan lines?

well, anyways, all you gotta do is create a patten and use it.

like, open up new image, 2 pixels high by 1 wide. make one of the pixels white, the other black. save it as a pattern. now all you gotta do is fill with the pattern and put it in the forground of an image. then you select the blending mode you want (they each vary it slightly) and make the opacity something in the mid 60s. hope that helps, also you could find a tutorial on the web, im sure.

And eff I've heard of people using the blinds effect in PSP (I'm running PSP6 so I dunno if its still called that in 7) in a different layer to achieve scan lines, then adjusting the transparency as they said before. It'd probably be just as easy to do what they said though then flood fill with the image...

Does anyone know easy ways to do abstract shape stuff with PSP6 (look on page 6 of this thread and check parasite's sig, stuff like that)..

Arg, as you can see (above) I'm having some server problems... It will magically appear when I get it working, so if it isn't there when you look, keep trying.

(hopefully this design is sort of what you have in mind, I'll try adding a C in addition to the S in the design if you want me to)

actually, i think its too tall as well, jsut shrink the whole thing down and youll be ok. my sig is exactly 75 x 400, so if yours looks bigger, its too big.

Hmm... I need an S that flows, like... whoosh. I think thats the right kind of colours silarn, but the S is rigid and difficult. It was just 49 pixels too wide, that's all. It's fixed now, though.
