gl_wireframe 1 that the map is my own. Well just agree and talk now about the map. Thanks, the proof will come. But now lets talk about the light. How is the light now?
If you want to proove Thursday wrong, just give a more zoomed in view on your brushwork. Rite now, the walls and whatnot as far as I can tell look 1 unit thik...
god you guys are so mean well nexus i for one dont think youve decompiled this because to me it bares no resemblence to any map i think the lighting is still a bit wierd tho

well they are claiming this could be decompiled yet again, and what I've hear is that a decompiler takes the brushes the compiler creates for half-life to read and recreates this in to readable content for a map editor. meaning the walls all are 1 unit thick (and probably screwed up to)

The texture alignment of the yel_grey on the walls strike me a bit odd... They end so abruptly when it gets near a corner. especially in: screen1: Top right of screenshot (and probably the oposing wall to...
Change it to something like the yellow part like on the ceiling. It would make the alignment more realistic looking.
screen2: middle right of screenshot...
See that verticle line in the texture? Position it on the edge of the wall
looking good there nexus
Umm nexus, that screen does not help. Why are you avoiding showing the 2d windows? I was wanting a screen of the whole hammer viewport. I see no reason to beleive you as you seem to be avoiding showing the actual brushes that you made.
Post an editor shot with the xy and z zoomed in enough to make out the detail. That shot prooves nothing...
Mineshaft keeps popping into my head whenever I see those pics. But yes, post some zoomed in 2d screenshots in hammer. Other than that, if this is totally legit, keep it up and you could beocme a respectable mapper one day.
omg starting a flame again, this map looks like his own work and hes showed me it from when he started on msn, and it looks good tbh, nice work nexus

You're new work is looking pretty good there the only problem is that you decompiled so many maps and flat out said that they weren't that the mapping community is having a hard time believing you now.
Trust is one of the hardest things to get but one of the easiest things to lose.
