that unfortunatly is not in english (we lnot proper english)

could any one translate that into something understandable?

sounds like it should be more like:

Real musician<b>s</b> were replaced by synthesisers and taped recording<b>s</b> whilst the balled<b>(possibly ballad?)</b> (n) and melssma<b>(No idea here)</b> by the repetive thudding (adv) of synthetic music.

That is probably also 2 sentances (or atleast a coma or something before whilst)

and it would sound better with:

While, at the same time, the ballad and the (sometihng) were replaced by the repetitive thudding of synthetic music.

I'm going to try and make it english:

<!--QuoteBegin--></div><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->Real musician were replaced by synthesisers and taped recording whilst the balled (n) and melssma by the repetive thudding (adv) of synthetic music.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Real musicians were replaced by synthesisers and taped recordings, while the ballad and melssma were replaced by they thudding of synthetic music.

...no idea what a melssma is, and I don't think while is the best choice of a connecting word - at least in english. Although it does make sense as a sentence now.

Is.. this what you mean with that m word?

    melasma

\Me*las"ma\, n. [NL., fr. Gr. ? black spot.] (Med.) A dark discoloration of the skin, usually local; as, Addison's melasma, or Addison's disease. -- Me*las\"mic, a.

Just to clarify .. that is usually associated with skin cancer.. I do not think it means black... :-)

Perhaps try to go straight from your native language -> Hebrew rather than using English as an in-between. There's less translation errors that way anyway.

At least English not being his first language might explain something.. I hope it's not.

Hm... let's give it a shot, going with UltimaGecko's version...

    "(musician)im (real)im haya (replaced) im (synthesiser)im v' (recording)im (taped), v'ha(ballad) v'(melssma) haya (replaced) im ha'(thudding) shel (music) (synthetic)."

That's the best I can do, my vocabulary's too limited. Currently googling for an online dictionary to fill in the blanks. [edit]Can't find any. Sorry, you're on your own. I can't be bothered to go find my old Hebrew dictionary.[/edit]

Uhh, my best attempt, done with english phonetic spellings of hebrew words:

Menagnim amitim ayoo muchlafim im (synthesizers) ve musica muclat k'che a (ballad) ve (melssma) beh a (repetitive) (thudding) shel musica sintetiy.

I can speak a small amount of Hebrew, never learned to read or write it, other than my name. Maybe I should, since then I would be able to make sense out of the Hebrew-English dictionary I have.

You really have no right to be mad; I mean think about it.

You just burst into a room of complete strangers with a random request that you make even harder on us by not writing your sentence correctly.

You're english isn't that bad if you live in a non english speaking country.

If you live in an english speaking country however, go hang yourself.

Melody is the closest thing that I could think of relating to the topic of the sentence regarding music.

    Fam with the rescue!

    As for translating it.

Most people who don't speak Hebrew nativly probably couldn't.

Most people I know that study the language study it b/c they are jewish and it is for Torah reading (thus they would not know the words for synthesizer)
