well, i was in the beta so i have the game but for those that don't all u need is cohupdater.exe which is roughly 600kb to get the rest of the game!

Most common price is $50USD. Best Buy has it on sale through Saturday for $40.
Monthly cost is $15.

Anybody know if there's a discount for paying 6months-1year in advance?

Yes, there's a discount for a longer-rate plan. 3 mo, $1 off per month. 6 mo, $2 off per month. 12 mo, $3 off per month.
Which can add up pretty darn quick when you're handling a year's worth of payments at $11.95 rather than $15.

Managed to get my copy, and Fry's had it on sale for $40. They then tried to tell me that if I had preorder, the price was $50... so I'd be paying MORE for having preordered than if I'd just bought it off the shelf.
Called over the manager and very calmly (snicker) explained the situation, and that I was very displeased that they would treat their customers in such a manner (though in far coarser language). Ended up handing it to me at $30 for wasting an hour of my life while the cashier ran back and forth, apparently not understanding the word 'preorder'... plus the $10 preorder cut. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
