While yes, they may have been harsh with criticism, but hell, <b>all</b> criticism is harsh, that's the nature of it.

Yes, your site is awful, but with work it could have been better. As Big Bull suggested, subtle earth tones would be a lot more pleasing to the eye and look a lot more professional. That's the nature of those colours, they're supposed to be easy on the eye. I'd also suggest a font such as Verdana or Tahoma.

To be perfectly honest, if you don't want people to criticise your website, don't put it on the internet. While people can see it, there will be critics. Grow thicker skin, or don't put a website on the internet. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
who cares? Please, keep your fingers in control and stop whining <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
How about you seriously grow the hell up and realise we're not attacking you, <b>we are trying to offer help</b>. You are being rude and insulting everyone who dares say a word against your site or your work. And what's more, you have the sheer audacity to come down on other people for <i>flaming you</i> when you're the one being an angsty little brat.

Go back to your Linkin' Park and don't spread your angst on people who are <b>spending their own time trying to help someone for zero gain whatsoever</b>. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
    well said...

    but i like linkin park does that make me a bad person ? D: <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
I make a page, spend hours fixing it, I draw a dussin concepts, I give you the link so I can share those concepts with everyone.

    I that wrong?

I didnt ask you to tell me whats wrong or right with it, all I didnt was to send the link, really, if I could decide, this thread would be locked directly after I sent it.

That way you'd only get the link, which was the primary idea.

    Is that wrong?

I dont tell you that your sig sucks, that your name sucks, that you use ugly colours or are ugly yourself.

    Is that wrong?

I dont usually tell people how stupid they are, or what faults they got etc.

    Is that wrong?

In that case, im a horrible person, and im sorry for my pitiful excuse of a life

none of that's wrong, but this is a list of what is wrong

    1: flaming me
    2: flaming bigbull
    3: flaming esuna
    4: flaming ns arms lab
5: not listening to our criticisms
6: calling US flamers when we do so
7: slamming OUR advice back in OUR faces, when you posted the site right here for all to see.

do you REALLY think that if you post something here, you'll expect everyone to skip the bad points of the site and tell you how great you are? well that only happens in cartoons and when you ask your mom if the crayon drawing you drew was good.

remember its "up the road", not "across the street" <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

you shouldn't be sorry, on the net it means nothing.
You should understand that everything you put on the net will be criticized whether you like it or not, you can't post it and lock the thread, those are forums,
we NEED to give comments, you could just not reply...

um, i think i came into this battle a bit late, but i think i should say something

    lessee....
first off, i personally didn't see the site (it was removed), so congrats on actually forming one, (i suck at html ^_^;;)

secondly, if people are criticizing it, well, try to take it, understand it, and y'know, improve right? nothing improves if everyone says its perfect when it isnt right?
think about it, modeleres get a lot of criticism themselves y'know, "omg that is boxy, omg that is looow pooly, omg that is teh suxy" etc etc, but from those comments, they know how to improve k?

    thirdly? (is that a word?)
for your critics out there, its ok to voice your opinion, but try not to be so harsh <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    you took constructive criticism and "deconstructed" it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
    instead of saying "OmG Teh col0rs r da hurtz of mine eyes D4t g01ngs the 0uchies! h4x 000gly col0rs n00bz0rz /\/\4N"

    try something like:
"I really do like your concepts, but the colors you have chosen might not be very effective as an internet site, as it cause a bit of reading problems, might I suggest reducing the tones to more eye pleasing standards?

that wouldn't be too hard right? and in the end, no hard feelings are produced <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

anyways, this thread is prolly a lost cause now, someone bring in the lock

Please keep all criticism constructive, and please do not flame someone for offering their opinions. Now, as this isnt going anywhere...
