First Storm Of The Season

<div class="IPBDescription">Favorite part of spring</div> Yup.. thats right, it is the first storm of the season here and I love it. I do wish it was a bit later in the day, but thats ok. Random post.. but what do you all love about spring/fall depending upon where you live of course. (Don't want to leave out those lovely aussies/southern hemisphere people.)

Testament

Rainy, warm days are the best thing about spring. I hate fall. It means snow and cold is imminent. I hate both those things.

Even thoug spring is my LEAST favorite season, I do enjoy the thunderstorms. I really don't like spring, sure its warm, but its always wet, and everything starts to bloom and it makes my sinuses go haywire.

I so much like autumn better. Its cool, not too warm but not too cold. Its dry, everything is either red/orange/yellow or a combination (most everything), and my favorite holiday is in the fall, Halloween.

Winter is my next favorite season. There is nothing like seeing new fallen snow, or hitting the ski slopes.

Summer, its too hot.

I love rain. Rain is awesome.

Especially huge thunderstorms where the rain comes down is sheets with lightning nad thunder where you can sit at a window and watch it flash every few seconds (and the thunder scares the crap out of animals <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->). Of course, I live in Wisconsin, so we get a good one about once a year (if that).

Barring that, just rain, during the summer is cool (especially warm rain). That's when you go outside and play football/bike ride/anything - because it's raining.

Snow is too boring for me, and I enjoy my temperatures between 70 and 85 degrees, with a light breeze.

Being in the middle of the state for college is boring, no cool lake effect showers...

I like rain and wind. The harder the wind blows the better <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> . And also hard rain is awesome. I like to go out and sit (maybe read) when it rains very hard. Of course I sit in a shelter, so that my book doesn't get wet. But summers can't be only storm and rain. A stromy day once in a week or two will keep me happy, otherwise it can be +25 C <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I'm not a big fan of the -40 degree wind chills (pretty sure it's the same for Celsius around -40 F). Ever had to walk in that stuff?

Very...burn-y. I'm all for wind in the summer though, 75 degree wind is awesome, I love warm wind (not hot wind though, unless it's humid - but I'm weird).

spring has the best weather; bright, but still cloudy, warm, but not blazing hot yet, and any rain just makes it better

Quite the opposite happening down here in South Africa, we had a major storm here yesterday and I reckon it's the last one before Autumn ( which is just around the corner ).

We are blessed with great weather here, winter temp's only go down to about 12 degrees celsius and max temp. in Summer is about 35 degrees celsius, would be nice to see some snow though.

Yes! Thunderstorms are the best! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo--> Though I prefer Autumn, because it's cold, but there isn't any snow yet.
