<div class="IPBDescription">My Cousin "finished it off" Today</div> So last week my phone rang and its mounted on the
wall about 3 yards to my left. To save standing up and
answering it i'd developed a way of wheeling myself
across the 3 yards and reaching out for the ringing phone.
It was a flawless little routine I had got into.
Flawless until sometime last week when the phone rang
and I attempted to answer it with the chair wheels on
a weird angle. There's was a weird snapping noise and
I nearly fell off! After some struggling and getting
the phone receiver to hit me in the fore-head,
I had answered the phone (wrong number!) and kept my
balance.
After a few days I had adjusted my balance to suite the
now damaged but "workable" chair. Life was good again.
But today my cousin was here, he was browsing eBay
as I was playing SplinterCell 2 on the X-Box. He kept
moving about and shuffling about in the chair complaining
that he couldn't get comfy.
A few minutes later there's that all too fimilar "snap" and
he's on the floor on his back.
HIM : "Dude, your chair's f******"
ME : "You owe me a chair!"
Cue several minutes of laughter.
So now I need a new chair or alternative method of seating
until I master the art of levitation.
Anyone want to buy a kidney? Those leather chairs aren't cheap.

Auctually, I once had a fun encounter with my chair too.
There I was, leaning back in my chair, when all of a sudden I fall backwards, my chair was completely under the desk, and the bottom part of the chair rose up and hit the support of the table.
Well, the table came forward on top of me, the computer slided off the desk, moniter went black and almost fell on top of me. I balanced there for a good 10-20 seconds not even breathing. Oh yea, just to add, I'm around 110 pounds and 5'11. Being a skinny dude was actually nice for once.
Finally I got to where I could get up, I thought my computer was screwed, it fell off a desk 3 feet high onto the hard tiled floor, PCI/AGP cards came lose (and yes they are screwed in), and various other bad bad things happened. The computer was still on and running, while all these cards popped out.
I shut it off, figured I was screwed, but I put the cards back in, and hooked it back up.
It booted.
It acted as if nothing happened.
At this point I was WTH H4X.
Now, had I fastend the moniter cable to the video card, the 120 pound, 21 inch, $650 moniter would have came tumbling down onto me making me around 6'3 feet tall.
So remember kids, Its sometimes good to be lazy and not fasten those moniter cables!
I've got about 4 or 5 sheets of it under my ****.
