Looking For A Good An Easy Avi Editor

<div class="IPBDescription">Simple as that</div> I'm trying to find a program that will let me disect AVIs. I simply want to cut/copy/paste frames out of larger avi files, complete with the audio intact, and still the same quality, nothing complicated.

The best one I've tried so dar was the <a href='http://www.am-soft.ru/aviedit.html' target='_blank'>Milukov editor</a>, but I couldn't figure out how to keep the sound intact after I cut the frames out.

Anyone have any suggestions of what I might be able to use?

If you don't care that the output can only be a .wmv, and you're on windows XP, check out Windows Movie Maker. it comes with winxp. It can import flawlessly any divx, avi, mpeg, or wmv you can throw at it. You can output in very high quality output comparable to divx. editing is so simple you won't need more than 30 seconds to figure it out.

Google them. You can get a shareware (non-commercial use only) version of VM from their webpage.
