<div class="IPBDescription">and can you help me?</div> Right, so as of late my network conection has been truly destroyed.
I can't play online games(1k+ Pings, and horrible choke/loss), my download rates are horrible, pages load at sub 56K levels, and it takes FOREVER to check my email (note I use SSH, thus my email should almost never be effected)

What I have done:
Virus scaned 2 times (using house call, I only found one virus)
Ussed both search and destroy, and AdAware (they catch different things basicaly)
Reset my modem.
Run DSL Reports (I have about a 56K down and 130K up, though I can't seem to use this when I try and seed a file ussing BT, so agian, I don't know if this is true)

Vital stats:
Cable Modem (I don't know what the advertised up/down rates are b/c I am not the one who bought it, and my roommates don't know, and the companies website is basicaly nonexistant)
LinkSys Router (I Have had NO PROBLEMS with this router up untill a week or so ago, so skip the LinkSys bashing unless you have something constructive)
There are 3 computer on the Lan, 2 Macs running OSX and me on Win2K

The first thing I would like to know is if there is a program that will let me check open connections, and EXACTLY what my network is doing.

The second is a fix <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->
If any one has any Ideas, PLEASE! I miss my NS ;(

    If I remember correctly there is something called "System Mechanic" which allows you to fix and or modify your current internet config, I would do a search on it, as far as I know, it just sounds like some internet configurations are messed up. I however, am not a computer expert. I also believe that DSL reports has some monitoring tools but I think you have to be registered to use them, not sure though. Good luck. :-)

    Find a program that monitors your internet activity and gives a graph of what using your bandwidth. A firewall program could do that atleast mine does.

    Are your roommates hogging the connection with, say, BitTorrent? Just wondering...

    Heh, I am a Choosen, not a forsaken, except to fools and well... Light-blinded people. Muwhahaha (/off topic)

    I do hope it works for you, it did for me when I downloaded the demo and tried it, but then my config was set for windows 98 and I just upgraded to XP so I suppose that made a difference.

    I do not recall if it does or not, but I think your built in system monitor with XP does do that for you already. Umm.. scratch that, you are running Win 2K.. I think you should have a graph display already built into your operating system.
