For it to work like that it would require 2 entities.
On top of that I try to keep my code simple, and only go complex when I know exactly what I want and how to do it. Most simple way to make a nuke would be to just use one "entity" which has the proper model, then on its think function when the timer is up do 100k damage to everything in the map that can be killed. (Which is done by looping through all the existing entities and checking thier variables).
Is there any point in my skinning my model? I could do it this afternoon, but if you don't like it then I've got another model I can work on. (Posted a MS flatshaded view on previous page)

Voogru, you could add like a middle station in the map (reactor room in tanith for example) have it explode there. Or just have the ceiling entity, like transparent, where it goes through...wherever you place it.
Yea, but the nuke needs to work and look good on every map <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->.
If it's stationary, I think his makes the most sense...
My only question is, is this a admin tool, or are you going to have it spawn in the game? It would be awesome to have one of these spawn ticking in the middle of the map and both teams have to scramble to deactivate it, or they both lose.

if some team can possibly end the game, and they arent, this puts a limit before the game is over. So it pushes them to stop messin around and hurry <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
will everyone's screen go white when the nuke goes off? I sure hope so <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->
A lot of these look like nuclear missiles or warheads on carts... I thought he wanted one that resembled the other Marine buildings?
I'm imagining the nuke as more of a structure like the TF, not necessarily related to a missile or warhead in any way. Like the nuke in Stargate... it was cylindrical but that's it. It was just a bomb meant to be pieced together and sit somewhere before going off...
Whichever models don't get used, keep them around... they'll go great as map objects <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I think the nuke will still turn screens white, it did with the last version of the nukes, at least. The timer runs out, screen fades to white, then back to color, and everything is dead <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->

I don't believe so, haven't watched that movie in forever.

Thats possible too, but it doesnt make sense for something to fly off inside a station and appear basically somewhere else <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif' /><!--endemo-->. but I dont want too make it work like that cause theres no open maps that could really show its effect. It's geocities. You have to drag the link to the location bar, or copy and paste it. Clicking directly will get that error.
