I'm at college so there's not much to do...which is why I started it in the first place, but then when I go back home for the weekend I leave my empire pretty defenseless, since I don't bother checking on it from home (more stuff to do).

I've got the A$ now for my third TA - anyone with good prospects want to make an agreement with me?
I recently averted disaster in my area. Two memebrs of the omen alliance attacked one of my trade partners, who also happens to be allied to Nemo alliance. I managed to intervene and get my TA partner to give them one of his planets (not developed) in return for making a TA pact with one of them. I invited the others to colonise a system I and another ally have been attacking.
It seems big things are afoot against a french alliance - I wont go into details yet but it basically invloves - French launch fleet against a frienldy alliance to us - we launch fleets against the French players planets once fleets are in the air > gg <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' /><!--endemo-->
When does the player information decide to put up your country of origin? I joined in yesterday, and it didn't put a flag under my name until about 10 minutes ago. The other guy in my system doesn't have one.
First of all sciences are really slow to begin with, however they speed up towards the end. Last beta bio23 took at least 3 days from bio 22, now you can research it from 16 in 3 days.
As for flags in player profile, I think you have to login a couple of times before it shows up on your profile.
Astrowars can get a little boring if you are doing the same old thing time and time again, I suggest getting more involved in a community and signing up with some friends. With Astrowars PC game coming soon, everything won't be so pivotal on the long rounds.
