Dunno DarkATi... The lava looks much better now but I liked the rock textures better in the old screenshot, the new rock texture alignment/resizing make it look less like rock and kind of stretched (the rocks in the lava don't count they are better in the new one). See for yourself:

Nice map overall, like the dirty look. Nice rock faces, although I do feel that the lava should scream with contrast and make everyones eyes bleed "death to all".
I also feel the marine spawn is not onos friendly enough, it might just be that angle, but it looks too marine friendly. Maybe putting a grate over half the room to flatten it out and create more space could improve the playability.

These are some very nice screenshots. I love the atmosphere this map has already, it does remind me of Metroid Prime's underground areas. The only thing that I see is the fact that marine start is a bit too marine-friendly. Perhaps widening the grating that the Command Chair and Armory sit on would help, or widening the platforms leading to it. (Like co_rats, it crashes everyones servers, lol) hopefully meteora will be my first actual release. (Crosses fingers)
Oh and I have Bad Surface Extents on this map currently, bleh, with all those rock faces... this could take awhile. New shots when I can!

Having some trouble compiling this beast though... clip nodes...
Stick some simplified clip brushes that match the basic geometry of your rocks. Basically just blanket your more complex geometry with clip brushes that reach the widest and highest points of the rocks:

They either have ladders or lead to rocks with ladders or you slide off them into the lava.

There is no way to get stuck on the rocks. They either have ladders or lead to rocks with ladders or you slide off them into the lava.
