but then again.. not every game is neverwinter =D

what a great clothes/armor engine. edit: dungeon siege had really pretty armor too, though.

it's like a better-looking priston tale. the monsters are more mature-looking, too.. (remembering glory days of RO)

but yeah. it's... okay. i don't have anymore time to play it tonight.. but all i accomplished was finding about 3 different places accessed on foot or by portal, where i was quite a few levels too low. my hit capacity ranged from 1 to 3 before i died in any given place.

i'll have to find the noob field.

anyways, biosfear/laghaim/savage eden is basically just MMO Diablo 2 =P
If you're a bulkan just go nuts on strength and ignore the others stats, dex is only used for guns so humans are the only ones who should bother with that and the mind stat or whatever is magic only so that's purely for the aidia and the other race who's name I forget all the time =3
Oh, if you're not a bulkan get your race's protection field thingy skill as soon as possible. It'll make you live longer and prevent you from being smushed so often XD

Been running about as a Kailipton (the other mage he forgot the name of) and having a decent time, though the rules seem to be in flux. Most people seem not to think twice about running up and whacking your monster, while complaining loudly if you get a smack in on theirs. Similar with looters.. standing on items your monster dropped, threatening to PK you if you don't leave so they can pick it up.

Bah. The one down side to MMORPGs... the fact you have to play with morons.

Hmm, I played it, will start it up again after this post. It's very hard to get xp in the beginning, basicly all you do is killing animals :\ Or there might be some way easier way to get xp wich I haven't figured out yet.

buy quest receivers from the guy who sells potions, they gives you quests which give you a buncha exp and lime.

no....its been out on PC for QUITE a long time. 'bout 4 months now...maybe 5...

Nope. Its one of my favorite games, I love the thing. Story is still big, and no one goes around yelling what it is(mostly because few people who aren't mature won't keep going till they hit 75(max level). And even then, it takes a LOT of work to defeat the end boss, I've heard. They said once a full alliance[18 people, 3 groups of 6] at all level 75 and with tons of healers, tanks, and damage dealers, still had a hard time.

The main story according to rumors will start in May or June, but those are rumors. There is still a good story about the Dark Lord coming back right now.

And even though the battle system seems at first like a lot of other MMOs, once you get around level 13-15, you'll see how involved it is, and how timing and skill can, and will, play a big factor in the game.

To say the least, I think it is THE best of the Final Fantasy series, for 2 reasons- what I've experienced of the story(which isn't much, considering I'm only level 19) its great, with great cutscenes and storytelling, not to mention, being that its a MMO, your party can be as diverse and wierd as you want it to. And the other thing, is its a lot more fun that FFX, and really, I believe its beating my fav of the series, IV and VI(my favorites).

If anything, you oughta get it. Its a incredible experience to say the least, and the community is much more mature than you'd think. Not too many idiots, and plenty of great people.

I don't consider it an FF game, so I wouldn't call it the best of the series. But I can buy that it's a good game, but its still a MMO and in my opinion can't live up to a real sqaure-enix creation in terms of story/gameplay.

Believe me. Just try the free month. If you don't like it, give it to a friend or something. The story is just as good, just takes much longer. And gameplay I think is even better, because they brought back the old timing system, and its the first MMO that has true coersion in it.

And if you don't like just because its a MMO- thats just being ignorant, and will make you miss out on a lot of good and revolutionary games.

Maybe I will after I finish ffx-2. MMO FF just always rubbed me the wrong way.

Me too. Even when someone explains about it, it doesn't sound that good. Its once you play it. On paper- it looks the same as every other MMO, and lackluster compared to Square. But it plays wonderfully fun, and is truly a experience that no other MMO of mine has quenched, and makes me just love it more and more.

This game is awesome, untill some a** took my sword which i dropped (It was rightesnous sword -10 strength needed IT IS EXTREMELY RARE!! Then some n00b grabbed it!! ) Man i was p****** after that!!!

Well then, Daza. Lesson be learned, don't drop stuff on the ground where you can get jacked. After all, you wouldn't set your laptop (assuming you have one) on the ground behind you in the middle of South Central or NoHo, would you?
