Thanks to Major Geeks for linking to it. If you don't find the mp3 funny enough, check out the music video.
[edit]Finished watching the music video. Features a number of celebrities, including 50-cent, P-diddy, DMX, Michael Jackson's gloved hand, and J-Lo's Booty.

Coil, are you familiar with any of the people involved in this?

Since i don't know much about rap, only a few people made much sense to me. The DMX was fantastic, all those barking sounds and stuff in the background, so authentic.

Also, all the photoshopped pictures at the start.

Some parts were simply spot on. Ja Rule, Chingy, P Diddy's presence (or the lack of) and DMX were simply amazing. They had me laughing out loud. The rest... well, fangs does a much better 50 cent impression.

And J-Lo.. Well, I had to skip those parts.

Actually, this is a common thing for mixtapes, not retail stuff. So clue's appearence doesn't really make any sense on this track. But hey, that's just me overanalysing this.

And apart from that: There's absolutely nothing wrong with Hip Hop, and rap music as such. Unless, naturally, you judge everything by the stereotypes that seems to dominate the mainstream genre. But that would be the same as saying that Nickelback is the best rock band ever. Or something.

EDIT: On the topic of parodies:

    http://www.captainsoftheworld.com/music/St...ngerTribute.mp3

And I'm still trying to find links to fangs - haxta, and 50 pence - in da pub.

well I don't really wanna be the only one to say that this bothered me so I won't... it would probably be just jealousy talking anyway, because these are princeton students while I go to Rutgers, a school for us dumb poor kids, a couple towns away but the parody DID feel kinda cheap... and I wouldn't think Princeton students are in the right demographic to have such strong opinions about rap... and the accompanying paper is pretty formulaic...

but the J-lo part DID have me cracking up =P
