My first ever online name was "SuddenDeath" This name was formulated by myself, as I Began to play a bit of Homeworld Cataclsym Online. I then chanegd my name to "The_Beast", named after the race in Cataclysm. I went through a period where I was a right n00b this was late 2000ish. I quit Cataclysm when I foudn counterstrike, where I went through a huge number of names, trying to find the name that best suited me. I picked the name "Beast", a shortened form of the original name "The Beast", and I felt it best reflected my playstyle - ie savage kamikaze. I have had this name since April 2001, and I do not intend to lose it, regardless how many people have the same name, as I actually came up with it myself, and at the time it WAS a uniqueish name.

q1-q2 i used Apathy or Schytzophrenic because I just don't care, and sometimes hear voices. Counter-strike I used Salty Vaginal Discharge/ Tea pot dome scandal. 1 because its really disgusting, 2nd because its just really confusing and maybe 4 people I met know what it is. I use Salty because people ban me for other name and salt is good.
Jammer ... this is really embarrasing, but when I was little (7-10) I was a HUGE Michael Jackson fan. He had a song Jam... well, you can guess the rest.
I'm also known as Joe-Randomosity at www.expectnothing.com and the Blizzard fansites (used to work at the now extinct wconline.org). It started on Battle.net's forums- you could change your username with each post (no membership). I would always post as Joe*somekindofphrase* like Joe*MmmMmmBetter* or Joe*PongIsCool*. When I had to standardize the name, I just chose Random and added the always cool 'osity'. Go me.
My alias i've used since June 1st, 1995. Ness is the most famous default name for the main character in a modern-life based SNES rpg called Earthbound (Mother 2 for all you japanese fans). It is without a doubt my favorite game to date. I went from being greeted as "Earth" in various AOL chatrooms (from when EVERYONE was on AOL), to being known as Ness in various channels, including #naturalselection. Most people in chat rooms tell me "Ness, wasn't he that guy from Super Smash Brothers?" and my response is always "NO! Now die."
That's about all the history there is when it comes to my alias (pft, like even 0.0001% of you people have even heard of me anyway).

Actually, if you had PLAYED it, which you obviously haven't, "Ness" came with several default built in names, and you could select "I don't care" at the naming screen to get one. On another note, I don't advertise websites but there's one that's considered the central place for EB info, and theres a nice petition on there with 30,000 + signatures for a new EB game, which was received, and now a new EB game is coming out for GBA, so I guess SOMEONE, SOMEWHERE, likes the game.

I started playing CS a year and a half ago, before that I was (and still am a bit) a big fan of papa roach (= the band you don't-knows) so I used the name Coby **** as a name in cs, then decided it's too long, so I had to choose from "Coby" and "****" and here I am after nearly 2 years now, as Coby

Initially I was nicknamed 'The Eaglechick', because whilst sitting a friend claimed that I looked a bit like a baby eagle waiting for food because of my awkward stance and large beak It sounds mean in type but it was all in good humour, this carried on for about a year and involved various drunken attempts to 'Fly like an Eaglechick' and some Bristol residents will never recover from being woken up by a dozen drunks all competing to do the best squawk as they staggered through the town. Good times.
So when I started using the net (yes this is going back to when internet access was rare - and some of you won't believe it was so recent) and I had to sign up for stuff I used my nickname. Shortly I got fed up with american kids trying to chat me up.
kid "hey - chick how old" me "21" kid "cool - got a boyfriend" me "erm - no" kid "it says in your stats you a bloke! lol" me "yes that's right" kid "so whats with 'chick' are you odd?" me "No it's chick as in small bird" kid "but it says your a dude" me "Goodbye" kid "freaking queer"
It was funny for a while but I got tired of it so I went for Eagle-C, but that was hassle to type and led to:-
kid "whats the C stand for?" me "chick" kid "so your a chick then?" me "no, chick as in bird" kid "yeah, like hot chick" me "As in KFC? No, not that either" kid "Weirdo, why'd u try and pass yourself of a girl man?" me "oh I give up"
So about 4 years ago it disolved to Eaglec.

This is the only one I've ever used. It's a direct decendent from my military callsign, Rogue. thought Renegade was nice because it sets me apart from everyone else, which I certainly am... apart from everyone that is... in a neutral sorta way, yeah.
Mine came from making up a name for the game "Ancients" which was an rpg way back in like 92 or something. I've also used the name Liniva (I made it for Ancients to) in other RPG's like UO. For a while, when I wanted a fresh start, I went by the name: Aftertaste, So Bitter.
My nick-story is a little weird, but OK, here it goes: I was a bit tired with my old nick, I had been using it for at least 2 years or something, and it was not very original. A friend was over to my place, so I said to him that I wanted a new nick, and asked if he could come up with something. Then he just said something like "supiko", so I respelled it a bit, and voilá, ZupiCo. It still hasn't been taken in _any_ community or forum I'm a member in. Resembles Serpico a bit also, wich is an excellent movie with Al Pacino.

Heh, I know you guys are going to laugh, but it is, how it is.
After playing Aliens versus Predator for a while, I created my clan (RPG). RPG is because we were'nt really playing shoot 'em up, but were rather role-playing. That means, the marines sticked together, talked, panicked and so on. It was fun.
The clan didn't last long as the members got "lost" (long story). But my RPG prefix now serves a better purpose. I still role-play, just not in games but on AIM or MSN and some boards...
EDIT: Omg, there were so many "anyways" in there I had to delete them...

I actually use two nicks, Zazamoukh (which is name from Pharaoh game) and more often Zero Great. First it was just Zero, as 0, nothing, someone who doesnt really exist. The first three letters ("Zer") are also last three leters of my real name. Sub-Zero is also my favorite guy from MK4. After i saw that there are more Zeros on the net, i added the "Great", it is there to distinguish me from them and to show i am better .

I also used "Roviet" on Westwood Online... come on, thoughts of the Soviet Union and my name (Rohan) just circled through me head until being at the top of the proletariat dictatorship came to a head. =) I also used "comradero" for the same reason.

Anyway, at the beginning of having only one alias, I was Jssmfulhud. Which in my language (slang of course) means - I am full cool.
