<div class="IPBDescription">They loves the games...</div> I'm not Korean, but I know that Korean gamers are somewhat fanatical about the games they love.
Especially Starcraft and Counter-Strike.
Since NS is a blend of both of these, I think it should be more popular than it is currently, which may be because of how steep the learning curve is.
Which is why a Korean Ver. would be nice. Especially since the server count has been going down lately. I personally would love to see NS flourish more than its current rate, and would love to see $100,000.00 tournaments over it like they have for Starcraft and CS over there.

Well, the problem would be language conversion. Do you know Korean? I don't, so unless we have Korean players who would be willing to help translate... <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->
Not being Korean, I don't know where to begin as far as translation would begin, but seeing how there is little actual text in the game, it seems relatively simple.
The manual may be a bit more difficult. And the audio files wouldn't be too hard, just swap those out with home made audio if you even needed too.
And there are a few NS websites that would probably mirror any would be download necessary.
Again, I know little as far as what would be necessary, so forgive if I oversimply.
Most people who play online (especially who are playing 'professional') know English anyway.

I don't think that koreans need a translated version of the game. For the rest of the world the english one works. And I think that korean gamers are very talented in english.
Yeah it is.
Anyway, I really think that they don't need a Korean version. I mean, if they want it, they will play it, there are plenty of other cultures that play NS but without a version specified for them, like those Spaniard servers for instance.
Ok than why aren't there european, arabic or asian versions out already? Cause everyone is too lazy to translate. (that are about 30 and more languages only counting big countrys.) And it's not really needed. Or you see germans whining about it?
Hmm, I wonder... maybe it's because <b>there are more Chinese people</b>!
Would you be able to find a translator though, if you were to make a chinese or korean client to encourage more foreigners to play?
Basically just changing the game text over to another language.

They have to be introduced to it first. Next time you have a big pile of spare cash laying around, buy out an add on www.ongamenet.com or another extremely popular Korean gaming television channel's website. I'm sure that would round up a few thousand Korean gamers. =P
I doubt it was simply a matter of translation, like many other people said other non english nations caught on, although, english to korean is quite abit more complicated then english to french or german, at least those guys can still read the characters even if they pronounce things funny.
Maby we should by an add in the game tv thing, I mean the stupid hose thing people could afford one, and thiers was like 2 minutes long. Maby not.
One thing is for sure, we would probably see some pretty good Korean comms
It was fun, im gonna go watch some more starcraft TV now, "ohhhh ohhhh, zergling shamalamadingdon, kekekeke" <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
What I'm puzzled about is about why they don't actually just do it themselves via Notepad?
Besides, I doubt they really need translations because some certain games don't have support for foreign symbols (aka Chinese, Korean, Arab, whatnot) without some sort of change to the language system which is most likely set to English, by default.
Just be thankful they know a bit of english instead of not know at all.
StarCraft and CS my good designer...
I used to be a avid CS player (CAL-IM Retired) and I used to post on the gotfrag fourms. I saw a user uploaded video of a Korean StarCraft match on a television show in Korea. It was insane, best SC match I have ever watched, and there was a stage and pyrotechnics and the whole works. Crazy stuff.
I think Asians are generally good at games period, they just pick stuff up quick.
OMG Zerg rush LOLOLOL?
I always pictured Koreans playing Starcraft and Diablo and those kinds of games <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

Why don't you introduce it to your Korean friends?
I think Korean's just don't know about the game, which is why they don't play it.
You find the translator, and we'll publish the product.
