Here here! If anyone deserves a happy very good, it's the NS team!
Yea! Afterall we're paying for those endless hours they spend programming, developing and creating the game....
oh wait....
However, they never said they were going to release it on Christmas, or New Years. In fact, the only release dates given have been "holiday season" (not necessarily Christmas) and "when it's done".
I'd just like to point out that if establishing the company is time-consuming, it's pretty stupid to have done it NOW....

So true, people always seem to confuze this.
The national "Holiday Season" in America is from Thanksgiving to New Years. The next national Holiday isn't until, what, July 4th? Because NS is an American modification from an American development team, it's fair to assume they're referring to American holidays.
The use of the very general term "holiday season" forces everyone to assume they meant sometime around Christmas or New Years, since they were shooting for Halloween and have had months of development time inbetween.
I'm not saying that's justification for insulting the team, or being angry with them, or that it's an inidication that it SHOULD be out already, I'm just defending the fair assumption that it was stated, though vageuly, that the game would be available sometime in December. However, now the team seems to have changed their mind, again.
The only point is: DON'T MAKE PROMISES. They knew that before, but they broke the rule... now a lot of people are upset about that (not me, though).
anyway, phish... how much have you had to drink so far? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
loool
Okay, so they overestimated their speed of coding. Big deal. I really hope they delay it forever because of people like this.
It will be a big version. Bigger than 2.0. It has a new damn game mode. That's not that easy to do.
Okay, maybe it wasn't that good of planning to start a company while developing 3.0. Again, big deal. Who cares? It's his own creation, and he (flayra and NS team) can do whatever they want to. If they want to start a company while everyone is dying, who cares. As long as flayra made NS (which can't really change, anyway), he can decide to do whatever he feels like.
See the article linked in my profile (noting the very bottom, of course <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> )
I would like to wish the NS team a super, fantastically happy, and, of course, code-filled <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->, New Year
Thanks for all the effort you put into NS, widout it, we wouldnt know where we are~!
HAPPI NEW YEARS ALL AROUND DA WORLD~!:D:D:D
Keep up the good work devs!
Oh and control yourself BluePhish, you strike me as a big-time drinker. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
I hope you'll have a nice year with a lot of NS games <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo--> !
As for when it is being released, I say release what you have now, so that all the idiots who are demanding it will get it, play it, and not like it and leave. That way once 3.0 is actually ready, only those of us who actually want to see the game at it's best are left and will not have to deal with asmany idiots
Keep up the good work devs! <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
In addition to this, it also means less distraction so we can actually get on with our lives...

We were wishing them a "merry good". Sounds ok.
BluePhish seems to be German. Explains much.
<!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> another goshdarn that doenst care about the ns team.
Happy new year!!!
Anyway what is a Merry good? What exactly are we trying to say? No combinations of those two words yields an intelligible message! "Ze goggles, they do nuthing!"
Have an onos sized amount of good times in 2k4!
Actually, all the constellation members are paying for it. Yes they get to play beta, but they'd rather play the real deal. The money is suppose to encourage the dev team to get updates out soon, and from what I heard the last beta up-date was quite some time ago.

I'm not "trolling".

They said "THIS holiday season" and as typical skeleton said, it should have been out already. So yes, they lied.
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->MagicBush, and everyone else who is disappointed at the absence of 3.0 for the holiday season:

Well it has been about a year since the last release, and theres not THAT many changes taking effect. It takes most developers no more than a year or 2 to release a NEW product. Yes I find it dumb that instead of concentrating on 3.0, he made a company. He should complete 3.0 then worry about a company <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->.
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->You are missing the big picture. The longer they delay it, the better it will be, the less bugs it'll have and it'll be more balanced. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
No not really, no matter how long they delay theres going to be bugs. Only human, so can't get it perfect.
