here is what he got the award for, this is a quote BTW

"Reports that say something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."

I lost all interest in this guy the second I ever heard about him <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Ahaha, go Rummy go!

Man, our elected officials have to be the silliest-talking Government ever. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Devisifying a way of figurating these unknown unknowns out takes beaucoup strategery.

    ... DON'T MESS WITH TEXAS!

Sorry, I'm just cracking up here.

Well, it could be worse. He could've tried to spell "unknown" with a q or three, or he could've make multiple unsuccessful attempts at making up a word. (Afghanistanania...afganinny, afguuuh...um...Iraq!)

Yes, that was quite baffling as a statement, but I think Arnolds should have won, but to illustrate the sheer stupidity of the people this country can elect.

Prescott is pretty much an "unknown unknown", though, even over here, where he's supposedly "deputy prime minister".

    That reminds me of this:

He who knows what he know is wise, follow him.
He who knows what he does not know is ignorant, teach him.
He who does not know what he knows is stupid, shun him.
He who does not know what he does not know is a fool, kill him.

    -conventional wisdom

Taking a look at what Rumsfeld said...wow, time to take a remedial English course.

Even one of my friends who is very conservative (Im fairly conservative, hes way out there even to me) said himself: "I think Rumsfeld is losing it. Somone asked him a question the other day and he stared at the camera for 30 seconds."

All I know is, if I'm ever elected President I'm assigning a team of Victoria's Secret models to be my public relations team, then no one will notice/care when I screw up. Whos with me?

Thats the most retarded thing I have ever seen.

Its like one of those I know, that he knows, that I know, things.

"I am going to surprize him with 50 ships, but I know that he knows I would do that, so I'll send 100 ships, unless he knows that I know that he would know about the 50 ships, and would be expecting me to increase to 100. I know that he knows that I know that he knows, so I'll send 10 ships and catch him off guard, but if he knows that I would know that he would know about the 100 ships knowing about the 50 ships, chances are he knows about the 10 ships in which case I should send 50 again, because he would never know I would be knowing that he knew that I knew that he knew that I knew that he knew about my original plan!"
