And the marines do take skill. You're probably just angry that you were an alien and it was 15 v 6. Don't worry. Things will get better as the mod goes on. The last 2 servers I went to (Read: I've only played on 3) had even teams.... one of those I'm going to tell you about in the Tales from the Frontline.
Just because you're an alien doesn't mean you have to ignore armor and damage upgrades. You have to use some thinking, too. You can't just rush in and attack. If you do you're gonna get owned by turrets, unless you're a heavy alien with some good upgrades, like armor.
