This guy kept mulliganing, cause all he got were land cards(go figure). Eventually, he got to only 2 cards, and just asked- "Can we re shuffle?"

The mulligan is a terrible thing, i've seen picky people keep doing it over and over and just failing because i refuse to let them reshuffle. My deck, no matter what hand i draw, 9/10 i have 4 mana out by my second turn, then 7 or so on my third. On the very rare offchance i don't do this by third turn, the fourth turn i will have.

And no, the sig / av is Kaoru from Dir En Grey. I was watching some of their old PV's and thought i'd use him.

I dunno. I think I like Mulligan. Then again, I like having plenty of everything out.

BTW- Thats Kaoru, uh? I've only seen a few pics of them. Wierd for a Japanese group to have a name that sounds german(or is?)

wasn't part of the mulligan rule that you could only do it if your hand was all land or no land? or was that just a house rule me and my friends had? ^^;

Quanaut, terrors an old card and you might not be able to get hold of it. Get Dark Banishings, they are in 8th, though it costs 1 more, you can kill artifact creatures with it, crucial in mirrodin. Naturalize though, is a really good card, a green disenchant.

And about mulligan, its useful if u know how to use it. Generally, i wouldnt mulligan getting less than 6 cards because thats loosing too much card advantage. Magic is not about luck, that is a noob statement, just check out Sideboard Online.

No, you can mulligan with whatever hand you draw, you just draw a new hand with one less card.

ahhh, so you're not Kaoru 0_o

I love slivers, thats a pretty evil combo there Ottodestruct

Here's another good one:

Card 1: Any creature that has "tap: deal 1 damage to target creature or player" there are plenty of them.
Card 2:Curiosity (enchantment): Whenever enchanted creature deals damage to a player, draw a card
Card 3:Mind over matter: discard a card from your hand, untap target creature.

Can you say 50+ damage in one turn?

As I mentioned before, Terror has been reprinted in Mirrodin.

Anyway, with Green/Black, you'll want to focus on mana production, creature and artifact kill, and good creatures like Spiritmonger. Unless you already have an idea you're working with.

Bwahahah! I remember back when I played magic! My deck was based around this concept:

White 1/1 first strike creatures: Tundra Wolves, Serra Zealots. I had a couple Order of Leitburs in there (WW to cast, W gain first strike, WW +1+0)
I had 3 or 4 Icatian Javelineers (W to cast, tap to do 1 damage to any target (can only do this once))

I combined this with red: Lightning bolts, blood lust, disintegrates
And finally a goblin war drums (opponent must block a creature with two or more creatures if he decides to block it)

There may be other details I don't remember, but basically it boils down to this:

The most anything costs is 2, most cards cost 1, the exception are the war drums (which cost 3 but I don't play them when I don't have many creatures). I'm never mana screwed and I can get away with having less than normal mana in the deck (40 card deck I think only 11 of those cards were land)

Attack with white first strike cards, if they block, zap the defending creature (or bloodlust) and your creature lives, if you don't have one oh well, it's a 1/1 creature. If you only need a little more damage to kill a creature, use your javelineers (that's what they're there for)
If they don't block, bloodlust (or just ping him for 1 pt of damage). You should have tons of creatures (or tons of direct damage!) and thus will have no problem getting units through. With goblin war drums this makes it even better because they have to waste 2 units to block one of you 1/1 units.

On average, I killed my opponent in 3 or 4 turns.
